Adventurer - Line 2

Lucas is part of the expeditionLine 2, a team of adventure and ski enthusiasts, who are crossing the Pyrenees on ski touring in the winter of 2024/2025. Their common thread is to connect the Mediterranean to the Atlantic using the strength of their legs. They will leave with their skis and their tent with the aim of living a real 2-month adventure according to their values, without going to the other side of the world.

Who is Lucas?

Originally from Gif-sur-Yvette, I grew up in the Chevreuse Valley before leaving for my studies in Lyon. I always wanted to spend time in the mountains and it was during my studies, at my school's mountain club, that this practice took on another dimension. I discovered ski touring there and it is now this passion that will occupy all my winter weekends.

Now a developer engineer in Lyon (but probably not for much longer), I enjoy the Alps every weekend.

MTB, enduro, kayaking, sailing, skiing, mountaineering, hiking
I like a bit of everything! Always up for it, sometimes even a bit too much (according to my friends): imagine a kayak-hiking trip in Norway in continuous rain or nights under tarp in the middle of a storm in the Dolomites.

Passionate about photography and video, I try to immortalize all our adventures and transcribe what we can experience and feel up there: the joy of a sunrise, the immensity of a sea of clouds at altitude or the coldness of a winter ski raid. I am convinced that by showing what happens there and the wonders that can be seen, I can make people want to protect this fragile environment.

My projects?

Without a doubt “Line 2 - Crossing the Pyrenees on skis”! It is a project that has been in the works for a long time and that I want to carry out with 2 friends this winter 2025. It is a crossing of the Pyrenees, from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean, in winter and only using the strength of our legs. The goal is to carry out an ambitious expedition (night in a tent, food autonomy between villages, isolation) while staying close to home.

The ultimate goal is to make a medium-length film retracing this epic and thus combine my passion for the mountains and my passion for images!

And to be honest, I always have lots of projects in mind (more or less feasible), but one thing at a time for now ;).

Why the Lagoped Family?

First of all, Lagoped's ecological and ethical values are in line with mine and this is something that is very close to my heart.

In addition, to spend time at altitude in winter I really need quality and resistant clothing and that is why I am proud to be part of the Lagoped adventure.
