EVERIDE: the 3-layer jacket designed for freeride skiing and the mountains

A day of freeriding rarely brings stable weather: you climb on skins or wait on the chairlift, wait for your friends in the wind on a ridge, then drop into powder that gets everywhere. EVERIDE was built to handle it all without compromise.

A Sympatex membrane that keeps snow and rain out

Its 3-layer construction in recycled polyester with a Sympatex membrane offers 20,000 mm of waterproofing and a RET below 13: wet snow stays out, while moisture produced on the climb escapes. All seams are sealed with heat-bonded tape, the pockets have water-repellent 5 mm YKK Aquaguard Coil zippers, and the center zipper is a 5 mm YKK Vislon that’s easy to use with gloves.

Details tailored to resort and backcountry skiing

Removable powder skirt for deep days, a hidden zipped lift-pass pocket on the left arm, a large right-side Napoleon pocket accessible while wearing a backpack or harness, two internal pockets, including a mesh pocket for drying skins or storing goggles, and a helmet-compatible hood adjustable at three points.

PERFORMANCES

Sympatex membrane, 20,000 mm, RET < 13, recycled polyester

20,000 mm hydrostatic head, in a lightweight fabric for the ascent

In ski touring, every gram counts on the way up. So we chose a lighter outer fabric for the EVERIDE than for our mountaineering jackets, without compromising on protection: its Sympatex membrane withstands 20,000 mm of hydrostatic pressure, meaning the water pressure it can take before letting a drop through. In other words, it can handle a full day in the snow. For breathability, its RET is below 13: sweat vapor passes through the membrane instead of condensing inside, and two underarm vents take over when the slope gets steeper. This performance is measured when new, then checked again after many washes. The PFAS-free water-repellent treatment applied to the surface makes water bead up so the fabric doesn't become saturated.

Seams sealed with heat-applied tape

Heat-sealed seams: water can't get in through the seams either

A 20,000 mm membrane is useless if water gets in through a seam. This is the invisible part of the work, and it's often where the difference is made. Sewing fabric means piercing it hundreds of times: every needle hole is an entry point for water. On the EVERIDE, all the seams are covered on the inside with heat-sealed tape that closes these holes, including around the vents. Turn the jacket inside out and you can see them running its entire length. The zippers follow the same principle: the center zip is a 5 mm double-slider YKK Aquaguard Vislon, and the pocket zips are YKK Aquaguard, with a coating that blocks water at the teeth. The result: the pockets and removable snow skirt stay dry, even after a day in powder.

EVERIDE, the third layer of the Lagoped ski system

Did you know? The Lagoped, our totem animal, changes its plumage with the seasons: white in winter to blend into the snow, it fluffs up its feathers when temperatures drop. It constantly adapts, never wearing more than it needs.

EVERIDE follows the same principle: it serves as the outer layer, the third layer, keeping out snow, rain, and wind while letting perspiration escape. It’s worn over an insulating midlayer, a grid fleece or lightweight down jacket depending on how cold it is, which in turn goes over a technical base layer next to the skin. This is the combination you adjust throughout the day: take off the insulating layer on the climb, put it back on at the summit, while the jacket stays on.

Fit & support

EVERIDE Regular Fit Jacket: room for layers, not wind

EVERIDE has a straight cut in a men's fit, with room for a thick fleece or a lightweight down jacket underneath without pulling at the shoulders or restricting your pole swing. The volume stays contained enough to keep the jacket from flapping in the wind on a fast descent.

Adjustments you can make on the move

The waist drawcords and wrist Velcro tabs let you seal the jacket when the wind picks up, then loosen it on the climb. The removable snow skirt comes off when the snow is dry or when switching to touring mode.

A hood that stays in place over your helmet

The roomy helmet-compatible hood adjusts at three points, around the collarbones and at the back of the head: it turns with your head and won't come loose in a head-on gust.

Coupe Regular

Coupe intermédiaire à travers le buste, avec assez d'aisance pour superposer une couche technique en dessous sans compression. Les manches gardent une bonne liberté de mouvement pour les activités outdoor du quotidien, de la randonnée aux sorties en montagne.

SIZE GUIDE

Make your equipment last
