Layer system

Did you know? The ptarmigan—our spirit animal—changes its plumage with the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape predators and increases the fluffiness of its feathers to ward off cold.
The KEA bra is inspired by this: its composition and construction make it a light and breathable product, which will dry very quickly after endurance activity.
To enjoy your favorite activity whatever the weather, here's the basics: layers.
The first layer, called the inner layer, must be breathable, to guide perspiration to the outside of the garment. This is the category to which the KEA bra belongs.
The middle layer is insulating, it helps keep the heat in.
The outer layer protects against bad weather: waterproof, breathable, windproof.
By building your outfit around this system, you gain comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the mid-layer and then put it back on afterward. In short, layering is the foundation.

Manufacture

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since Lagoped was founded, we've been working tirelessly with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip you as best we can, always with sustainability in mind. Here's how our clothing is made: Here, we favor Econyl, an innovative and responsible material made from nylon waste. The material is recycled from old fishing nets, fabric scraps, etc. The yarn comes from Slovenia, the material is knitted and dyed in Italy, and the bra is assembled in Portugal. Short circuit, as always!

Circular economy

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped does not compromise on anything.- Regenerated polyamide yarns in Slovenia. Regenerated nylon is made entirely from nylon waste (including fishing nets, fabric scraps and used carpets). As for elastane, it is not yet recycled. But we are working on it with our suppliers to develop our bra in the future.- Knitting and dyeing in Italy- Back mesh made from recycled polyester from plastic bottles, and knitted in France- Mesh assembly and printing carried out in Portugal.

Composition

Main fabric 225g/m²:
- 78% recycled polyamide (r-PA) made in Slovenia from polyamide waste (used carpets, fabric scraps, fishing nets, etc.); UPF50+ by construction
- 22% elastane (EA) - yarn made in Northern Ireland
110g/m² mesh insert:
- 64% Recycled Polyester (r-PET) from plastic bottles (Italy), 26% polyester (PES)
- 10% Elastane (EA) - made in South Korea and Japan
- Fabrics made in Italy and France

Care

To respect the environment and make your bra last longer, machine wash it on a short, moderately hot cycle (30°C is sufficient), using a natural detergent. Air dry it rather than machine dry it.

Veste idéale pour une pratique du Telemark, du ski ou du snowboard freeride.
La coupe est vraiment top. La veste descend assez bas pour une bonne protection.
La capuche est vraiment grande du coup on peut la mettre sur le casque si la météo n’est vraiment pas bonne. La grande poche sur le devant est très pratique pour ranger du matos au sec comme les gants, le masque …
Et en plus le look est absolument très réussi.
