Charlotte Martin 🇫🇷
Photographer & Videographer
A former trail runner, the mountains were a source of calm for Charlotte and allowed her to have a different approach to sport. After a long fight against anorexia, she stopped competing and discovered other sports: mountaineering, paragliding, skiing and climbing.
These sports allow her to be in the environment she loves most: nature. Photographer and videographer, she likes to capture memories to bring back to life a great adventure, but also to show solutions for the climate and
biodiversity.
With the Rise – Our World Heritage foundation she is carrying out, withNicholasand the whole team, documentaries in which they go in search of solutions that are good for nature, the environment and man and which can be replicated anywhere in the world.
When she's not behind her camera, Charlotte loves adventures. Whether in the air, hanging from a rope, on two wheels or with sneakers on her feet, she loves new challenges.
As you will have understood, his time is very busy.

A quick word about the Rise – Our World Heritage foundation?
The goal of the foundation is to influence local and global decision-makers to implement innovative solutions to fight climate change and preserve biodiversity.
To do this, the foundation produces documentaries (the first episodes will be released at the end of the year) and other actions aimed at the general public such as serious games, photo exhibitions and white papers.

Your relationship with the mountain?
The mountain really allowed me to get back on my feet when I wasn't doing well. She taught me to take time, observe, calm down. It also made me aware of the fragility of things, of life, of the importance of enjoying every moment, of savoring all the little victories. I grew up a lot in
through different mountain outings. A bit like an introspection or
a long meditation session, when I am in the mountains I have the impression
to go on a trip as much for the beauty of nature as for what is
passes inside me.
Nature is incredible and we are incredibly lucky to be able to enjoy it so much. All of this makes us want to take care of it, raise awareness, find solutions to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow, to preserve this beautiful planet which offers us so much.
Your fondest memories in the mountains?
It's funny because every time I try to remember my most beautiful memories in the mountains, it's not necessarily great summits, but rather moments of sharing, strong emotions that come to me.
I remember a paragliding flight, where I flew over 3 massifs in the same day for the first time, I left the Vercors, then I flew over the Chartreuse and the Belledonne massif, I was so happy, it was magnificent, there were lots of clouds to surf on which made the flight even more magical.
I still remember a flight with friends from Mont Blanc du Tacul or a walking and flying adventure withNicholasto do several summits around the house in the same day to end with a last magical flight at sunset.
And then, there are gravel trips with our panniers to tackle the most legendary passes in the Alps.
I could talk for hours about mountain memories because there are too many and it's too hard to choose!
