TEETREK: the technical T-shirt designed for mountaineering and climbing

On a race approach, sweat arrives well before the cold. TEETREK was made for this exact moment, when a shirt needs to wick moisture away quickly and dry even faster, without ever clinging to the skin during a break at the base of the route.

A lightweight knit that wicks moisture

Its main knit, made from recycled ECONYL polyamide blended with elastane and weighing 145 g/m², was chosen for its high moisture-wicking performance. It moves with your body while climbing or hiking to the crag, stays flexible under pack straps and a harness, and also protects against UV rays on high-altitude routes where the glare is intense.

Mesh panels where things heat up

On the sides, finer recycled polyester mesh panels weighing 110 g/m² improve ventilation in areas that heat up the most. The pattern on these panels is created by sublimation, a process that prints the design directly into the knit, without adding thickness or material that could rub under a pack.

PERFORMANCES

ECONYL recycled polyamide stretch fabric, UPF 50+

A lightweight knit with high moisture transfer for summer hiking

On a summer hike, discomfort doesn’t come from the cold but from a T-shirt that sticks to you. The TEETREK’s knit, made from 145 g/m² recycled ECONYL polyamide blended with 10% elastane, isn’t designed to absorb sweat: it moves it to the surface of the fabric, where it evaporates quickly. As a result, the garment dries as you walk instead of staying heavy and damp against your skin. That makes it much better suited than a cotton T-shirt for long outings with a backpack. It weighs 120 g in men’s size M and 110 g in women’s, offers UV protection, and its knit is made and dyed in Italy before being assembled in Lithuania.

Polyester side mesh panels, 64% recycled content

Mesh panels on the sides, where heat builds up

Even lightweight mesh has its limits when temperatures rise and the pack blocks airflow against your back. That’s why the TEETREK has mesh panels on the sides, made from an open-knit mesh weighing 110 g/m² that you can see through when held up to the light and that lets air flow freely along your torso. This is exactly where heat builds up under your arms and along your ribs. The mesh is knitted in Isère from polyester that’s 64% recycled, and it’s where the sublimation-printed pattern goes: the ink penetrates the fibers without adding a layer that could hinder ventilation. A simple detail, but one you’ll notice as soon as the trail steepens under the blazing sun.

TEETREK, the first layer in the Lagoped three-layer system

Did you know? The rock ptarmigan, our totem animal, changes its plumage with the seasons: white in winter to blend into the snow, it fluffs up its feathers when the cold sets in. It constantly adjusts its protection to the temperature, never wearing more than necessary.

TEETREK plays the same role right at the start of the chain: it’s a base layer, the first layer, the one that touches the skin and whose main job is to wick sweat away. Worn on its own in warm weather, it also slips under an insulating midlayer, such as a fleece or lightweight down jacket, which is itself covered by a waterproof outer layer when the weather turns. If this first layer holds on to moisture, the rest of the system becomes less effective.

Fit & support

TEETREK Regular Fit Cut: Close-Fitting Without Being Tight

The women's version of TEETREK comes in a Regular Fit cut—not tight or loose. The knit contains elastane, so it moves with your shoulders and back when you raise your arms while climbing, then returns to its original shape when you finish the movement.

It's a base layer: wear it directly against your skin, with no layer in between. It slides smoothly under a fleece or jacket without catching. The fabric is thin enough to avoid bulk under backpack straps or a harness, which matters on a long approach. The mesh panels along the sides let air through without changing the silhouette.

Coupe Regular

Coupe intermédiaire à travers le buste, avec assez d'aisance pour superposer une couche technique en dessous sans compression. Les manches gardent une bonne liberté de mouvement pour les activités outdoor du quotidien, de la randonnée aux sorties en montagne.

SIZE GUIDE

Make your equipment last
