The knit’s stretchiness does the rest: the tube conforms to your shape without pressure points, moves with you as you turn your head while climbing or sailing, and returns to place after being pulled up over your nose. The UV treatment completes the package by protecting the nape on long glacier crossings, when the sun beats down just as strongly from below as from above.
