LUULEA: the 1.4 L waist pack for the valley and days without a backpack

There are outings where you set off with forty liters on your back, and all the others: the walk from the parking lot, a day in the city between trains, a Sunday gravel ride. LUULEA was designed for those moments, when you just want your phone, keys, and a little change close at hand without carrying anything on your shoulders.

1.4 liters neatly divided between two pockets

The main pocket, with a top opening, fits a phone, a wallet, and a cereal bar. The front pocket is a handy place for things you reach for ten times a day, like a transit pass or car key, without having to rummage through the main compartment. Both close with a 3 mm YKK zipper.

140 grams you forget once it’s on

The webbing belt, adjustable with a plastic buckle, can be worn around the waist or crossbody, as you prefer. Weighing just 140 g, the pack is easy to forget after the first few minutes, and the main fabric, recycled polyamide with an acrylic coating, takes the rub of a pack strap or seat back in stride.

Recycled ECONYL polyamide with a PFAS-free water-repellent finish: fabric built to take a beating

LUULEA’s body is made from 100% recycled ECONYL polyamide, a regenerated fiber made from fishing nets, textile scraps, and discarded carpets, with a weight of 184 g/m². That’s the weight of true bag canvas: it can handle a full pocket’s load, withstand abrasion from a rubbing strap, and hold its shape over time. A 3% acrylic coating adds density to help limit water penetration during a brief shower. The secondary fabric, made from 78 g/m² recycled Newlife polyester, has a PFAS-free water-repellent finish: water beads on the surface instead of soaking into the fabric, without using fluorinated compounds.

140 grams and a 3 mm YKK zipper: lightweight without compromising on closure

140 grams is the weight of two energy bars. At that weight, the bag no longer factors into the decision to bring it or not: it stays on the bike handlebars or the entryway hook, ready to go with you. This lightness doesn't come at the expense of the closure, since both pockets are fitted with 3 mm YKK zippers, a slim size that's still easy to operate one-handed while retaining the reliability of a quality zipper. The plastic belt buckle follows the same principle: it clips and unclips with one motion, even with lightweight gloves on, and keeps the whole thing lighter than a metal buckle.

An adjustable strap that adapts to your body

The webbing strap adjusts along its entire length with a plastic buckle. Worn snugly around the waist, it holds the bag close to your body and keeps it from bouncing around when you walk fast or cycle. Loosened, it can be worn crossbody over your chest or back.

A bag that fits over a jacket

With a 1.4-liter capacity and a slim profile, the bag can be worn over a T-shirt or a mountain jacket, without getting in the way of a light backpack. The fit is the same for men and women.
