Climbing
On an arête route or a long pitch, your T-shirt is the layer you keep on from the start until the descent. It takes the brunt of sweat on the ascent, the afternoon sun, and friction from your harness. TEETREK was designed to do that job without getting in the way.
Its main fabric is a 145 g/m² knit made from recycled ECONYL polyamide and Lycra elastane. It moves moisture outward through the fabric instead of letting it sit against your skin, helping you avoid a chill when you stop at the top of a pitch. The whole shirt weighs 120 g and packs down into a corner of your bag.
On the sides, a 110 g/m² mesh panel made from recycled Newlife polyester lets air circulate under your arms, where you heat up most with a pack on your back. It features a sublimated pattern, printed into the fabric rather than applied on top. The material also provides welcome UV protection on glaciers or exposed rock faces.

PERFORMANCES
ECONYL recycled polyamide stretch fabric, UPF 50+
On a summer hike, discomfort doesn’t come from the cold but from a T-shirt that sticks to you. The TEETREK’s knit, made from 145 g/m² recycled ECONYL polyamide blended with 10% elastane, isn’t designed to absorb sweat: it moves it to the surface of the fabric, where it evaporates quickly. As a result, the garment dries as you walk instead of staying heavy and damp against your skin. That makes it much better suited than a cotton T-shirt for long outings with a backpack. It weighs 120 g in men’s size M and 110 g in women’s, offers UV protection, and its knit is made and dyed in Italy before being assembled in Lithuania.
Polyester side mesh panels, 64% recycled content
Even lightweight mesh has its limits when temperatures rise and the pack blocks airflow against your back. That’s why the TEETREK has mesh panels on the sides, made from an open-knit mesh weighing 110 g/m² that you can see through when held up to the light and that lets air flow freely along your torso. This is exactly where heat builds up under your arms and along your ribs. The mesh is knitted in Isère from polyester that’s 64% recycled, and it’s where the sublimation-printed pattern goes: the ink penetrates the fibers without adding a layer that could hinder ventilation. A simple detail, but one you’ll notice as soon as the trail steepens under the blazing sun.
Did you know? The rock ptarmigan, our totem animal, changes its plumage with the seasons: white in winter to blend into the snow, it fluffs up its feathers when the cold sets in. It constantly adapts to the temperature, never wearing more than it needs.
TEETREK plays the same role as its downy undercoat: it's the inner layer, the one that stays in direct contact with the body and wicks sweat outward. If this first layer fails, the other two are no longer much use. On top, you add an insulating layer, such as a fleece or lightweight down jacket, depending on the temperature, then a waterproof, windproof outer layer when the weather turns. In mountaineering and climbing, these are the layers you take off and put back on throughout the day, while TEETREK stays put.
Fit & support
TEETREK is available in a men's Regular Fit: it follows your shape without compressing it, which is exactly what you want from a base layer. The fabric contains elastane and moves with your shoulders during a reach or a climbing step, then returns to shape without stretching out over multiple outings.
The fabric is thin enough to wear under a fleece or jacket without bulk at the armholes, yet sturdy enough to wear on its own during a warm approach. The mesh panels are positioned under the arms, away from areas that rub against a backpack or harness.
Coupe Regular
Coupe intermédiaire à travers le buste, avec assez d'aisance pour superposer une couche technique en dessous sans compression. Les manches gardent une bonne liberté de mouvement pour les activités outdoor du quotidien, de la randonnée aux sorties en montagne.
SIZE GUIDE
Make your equipment last
