Manifest
At Lagoped, we create technical mountain and outdoor clothing designed to last, made exclusively in Europe, PFAS-free, and from recycled materials. We have always championed a virtuous model that respects women, men, and the planet. Because the textile industry must change, we have chosen transparency: we are the first French brand to publish the eco-score of our products. Inspired by the ptarmigan, a discreet and resilient mountain bird, our clothing is timeless, designed to last a long time, on all your adventures, in the mountains and elsewhere.
With Lagoped, wear the most nature-loving adventure clothing.
Our History
Lagoped was born from a meeting in the heights of the Alps between Christophe Cordonnier, Julien Désécures and Pierre Derieux , mountain enthusiasts, driven by the desire to create technical clothing that respects nature.
Together, they imagined a committed, transparent and bold brand.
Our Commitments
Recycled materials, always.
At Lagoped, we've made a clear choice: to move away from extraction by using exclusively recycled materials. This approach preserves natural resources, reduces our impact on water and land, and limits greenhouse gas emissions. Inspired by the ptarmigan's sobriety, we exclude virgin materials, whether natural or synthetic, in favor of recycling waste. This responsible approach is part of a larger project: preserving the planet and promoting committed European expertise.
Made in Europe, always.
Manufacturing in Europe is an obvious choice for Lagoped. We favor short supply chains and defend a committed, supportive and virtuous economic and social model, based on individual freedom and equal rights . The European Union, with its 450 million inhabitants , is a driving force for innovation and excellence, where we find the best textile artisans in the world . Cradle of fashion and mountaineering, Europe has a historical know-how , shaped by a mountain culture rooted in its heritage .
At Lagoped, we manufacture exclusively in Europe to ensure decent working conditions, comply with strict environmental standards, support local employment and avoid any involvement in forced labour, in a responsible textile approach serving people and the planet.

PFAS-free, always.
PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are perennial pollutants, used for their water-repellent and non-stick properties, are persistent chemical pollutants with serious ecological and health effects, associated with cancers, hormonal disorders and immune system damage.
The outdoor industry is particularly concerned, especially through waterproof membranes and water-repellent treatments. However, from the very beginning of Lagoped, we made a radical decision: no PFAS in our products . Thanks to our partners, such as Sympatex , we use a waterproof membrane and a water-repellent treatment guaranteed to be PFAS-free .

The first textile brand to publish its eco-score, since 2023.
At Lagoped , we believe transparency is essential for more responsible fashion. That's why we're the first textile brand to publish the Ecoscore of our clothing, based on rigorous methods such as the European Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) and the French Ecobalyse . These analyses allow us to measure the impact of each product throughout its life cycle and compare it to a market benchmark.

With 3.3 billion textile items sold in France in 2022 , the environmental impact of the industry is colossal: more greenhouse gas emissions than air and maritime traffic combined , and 4% of global drinking water consumption (source: Ministry of Ecological Transition, 2023). Faced with these challenges, we have chosen to display our ecological performance in a clear and accessible way, in partnership with PEF Trust , so that you can make informed choices.
Essentials that last, forever.
At Lagoped , we design technical and timeless clothing, designed to accompany you for a long time . No ephemeral collections dictated by the seasons: our essentials are renewed and improved thanks to your feedback. This approach avoids overproduction, limits textile waste and optimizes the use of materials, as with the fabric of the TETRAS jackets used for the inserts of the RYPA fleeces.

Our clothing is guaranteed for 5 years and, in the event of wear, we will help you repair it via our workshop based in Haute-Savoie . Tested and validated by mountain professionals , they are designed to withstand the most demanding conditions. Hiking, mountaineering, skiing, sailing, climbing ... The same product can follow you on all your adventures, all year round, in the mountains, in the valley, in the city or in the forest. Because the best clothing is the one you keep for a long time .

Lagoped leads the way
Lagoped's future is being written with boldness and commitment. In the coming years, our ambition is to grow the brand, strengthen our reputation, and expand internationally, to equip ever more nature-friendly adventurers.
A significant challenge in a sector where major brands have considerable resources at their disposal, reinvesting their colossal margins into marketing and communications. Lagoped, on the other hand, chooses to focus its energy and resources on what matters most: technical and responsible clothing, designed with high standards and transparency. We are moving forward with the conviction that another way of doing outdoor activities is possible.
