Kilometers of altitude
The air is fresh as we set off from Lac du Pontet. The first strides are light, almost playful. But very quickly, the slope steepens, and our legs burn. We struggle to catch our breath, torn apart. The MILVUS shorts and the TEETREK T-shirt cling to our bodies, follow the movement, and support the climb.
Each step requires more energy
But as the altitude increases, the body adapts and finds its rhythm. The heart pounds, but the eyes open to the horizon. La Meije, in the background, becomes the silent reward.
At the top, everything changes
The descent is approaching. Then, instinct takes over. The footwork becomes precise and rapid. Adrenaline rises like a wave. We race through the scree like a chamois, supple and lively. The ROKA T-shirt breathes with the speed, and the NAGALAKA jacket is forgotten, a protective layer against the caress of the wind.
