On a gravel ride, effort is managed differently than in the mountains: you alternate bursts of acceleration on trails, fast sections into the wind, and long hours exposed to the sun. CARDUELIS was designed for this kind of pace, with a lightweight 110 g/m² jersey that offers high moisture transfer to keep your skin dry when the intensity rises.

The recycled polyester and elastane knit moves sweat outward instead of trapping it against your skin, while its UPF 50+ protection means you won't have to ride with your arms covered in sunscreen on long, exposed stretches. It weighs just 126 g, so you'll barely notice it on your back.

Details shaped by experience

Raglan sleeves eliminate the shoulder seam that rubs under a backpack or bikepacking bag strap. Three patch pockets on the back hold energy bars, a spare inner tube, and a windbreaker, while a fourth, zippered pocket keeps your phone and keys secure. 110 g/m² jersey and UPF 50+: stay dry and protected from the sun

It all starts with the knit: 110 g/m² of recycled polyester and elastane, knitted for excellent moisture transfer. In practice, sweat is drawn away and carried to the fabric’s surface, where it evaporates quickly instead of lingering against the skin and cooling your torso as soon as you slow down or start descending.

This lightweight construction comes with genuine sun protection: the UPF 50+ rating filters rays on your shoulders and arms, the areas most exposed during a several-hour gravel ride in the open. And at just 126 g, the jersey is barely noticeable, wet or dry.

Three back pockets, one zipped pocket and a gripper strip: storage designed for gravel

The back of the CARDUELIS doubles as a saddlebag. The three patch pockets hold snacks, an inner tube and a windbreaker without getting in the way of pedaling, and stay accessible with one hand while riding. The fourth pocket, with a zipper, keeps your phone, card and keys safe on rough sections where the rest of your load bounces around.

To keep all that weight from making the jersey slip, the lower back is finished with a gripper strip that holds it against your skin, even when fully loaded and even in a low position on the handlebars. CARDUELIS serves as this base layer, sitting directly against the skin and managing moisture produced during exertion. Its high-moisture-transfer knit wicks sweat outward so the layers above can do their job properly. In cool weather or early in the morning, simply add a lightweight insulating layer over it, then a windbreaker or water-repellent jacket as a third layer for descents and showers, taking them off as soon as the intensity picks up again.

CARDUELIS slim fit: a close-fitting jersey for a ride without flapping

CARDUELIS comes in a slim-fit men’s cut that follows the contours of your torso without feeling tight, preventing the fabric from flapping in the wind when you pick up speed on open stretches.

Stays in place when riding on the drops

The elastane in the fabric moves with your arms and your leaned-forward position, while the silicone gripper at the lower back keeps the jersey from riding up when you move your hands to the hoods. Raglan sleeves free up your shoulders when accelerating.

How to wear it in different weather
