Layer system

Did you know ? The ptarmigan - our totem animal - changes its plumage depending on the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape predators and increases the fluffiness of its feathers to avoid cold spells.

The HEYDO2 down jacket is inspired by this: it plays the role of an intermediate layer, the one that insulates you from the cold and regulates heat.

To enjoy your favorite activity whatever the weather, here's the basics: layers.

The first layer, called the internal layer, must be breathable, to guide perspiration towards the outside of the garment.

The intermediate layer is insulating, it helps retain heat. It is to this second category that HEYDO2 belongs.

The outer layer protects against bad weather: waterproof, breathable, windproof.

By building your outfit based on this system, you gain comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the intermediate layer and then put it back on. In short, multi-layering is the basis.

Manufacture

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since the creation of Lagoped, we have constantly exchanged with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip yourself as well as possible, always with sustainability in mind. This is how our clothes are made:

The yarn is made in Slovenia from polyamide waste such as rugs, rugs and fishing nets. Weaving and dyeing are done in France (Isère). Little manufacturing secret, the fabric has received a mechanical anti-down treatment (no CHEMICAL treatment). This is what prevents the small threads of the wadding from piercing the fabric.

The wadding which retains body heat is made in Germany from recycled plastic bottles. No feathers at Lagoped!

The down jacket is assembled in Poland. Which makes it an entirely European product - a small feat for such a technical garment.

Circular economy

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped does not compromise on anything.

- Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 and GRS® certification

- Recycled wadding 78.2% (Asia)

- Econyl regenerated polyamide yarn (Slovenia)

- Fabric and dye (France) with mechanical (non-chemical) “anti-down” treatment

Composition

Exterior and interior fabric:

- 100% regenerated polyamide (r-PA)

Wadding padding:

- 78.2% recycled polyester (r-PET)

- Polyester 15% (PET)

- Polyamide 6.8% (PA)

Care

To take care of your HEYDO2 down jacket, wash it in the machine, with the zips closed at 30°C with regular detergent (not too much, and if it is eco-friendly, even better!).

You don't need fabric softener or anything (bleach).

Then, gently wringing and rinsing thoroughly is enough, before drying in the open air.

To usea specific PFC-free sprayto reactivate water repellency. The down jacket is water-repellent but it is not waterproof and will not keep you dry for long in the event of rain. For waterproofing there are of course our technical jackets.

  • Bad size ? Don't panic, returns are free.

  • For a story that lasts, our technical clothing is guaranteed for 5 years.

  • Repair rather than buy: repairs are possible and even free in the event of a defect or premature wear.

La coupe est vraiment top. La veste descend assez bas pour une bonne protection.
La capuche est vraiment grande du coup on peut la mettre sur le casque si la météo n’est vraiment pas bonne. La grande poche sur le devant est très pratique pour ranger du matos au sec comme les gants, le masque …
Et en plus le look est absolument très réussi.
