Who are you?

I had dreamed for a very long time of embarking on the GR5 which crosses the French Alps, of embarking on a large-scale project. So this determination pushed me to think bigger and say to myself: "But why not cross all the Alps?". At the same time, my studies in agronomy made me discover agriculture and all the links it maintains with man, the environment and biodiversity. I am convinced that agriculture is a central pillar in the ecological transition and the preservation of ecosystems. So, taking an interest in the problem of the wolf in the Alps, halfway between agriculture and the environment, allowed me to give an even greater meaning to this project.

Tell us about your best memory of crossing the Alps!

It probably sounds false, but all the moments of this crossing are incredible memories. But if I had to say just one, I would say that the best memory of this crossing is all the people we met, all the moments of exchange, discussion, sharing and all the warm welcomes we received. Imagine, you have been walking for 4-5 days, in the rain, sometimes snow, sleeping in a tent and you meet a person who offers you a bed and a shower, such simple things, but which are so dear to us. That is the best memory I have, everything we received and which makes me want to give back!

What are your plans?

What's next? First of all, we'll put together our documentary, which will retrace both our learning about the wolf problem through the actors we interviewed and then the human adventure, that of three friends who laugh, sometimes argue, but who always love each other.

Then, finish my agronomy studies, find a job that links agriculture and the preservation of ecosystems, ideally near the mountains.

And finally, this crossing of the Alps has above all awakened in me a desire for adventure and I intend to organize my next expedition, alone or with others, on foot, on skis or by bike, in France or in Europe, but always with this idea of setting off independently and discovering new landscapes.

Why the Lagoped Family?

When the three of us thought about what this project and its values represented, the first idea that came to us was that we could go on long trips without going to the other side of the world. We then bet on French mountain equipment, produced locally and which shares our values: commitment, sharing and respect for the environment. Lagoped was for us the ideal mountain brand to accompany us in this project. So being part of the Lagoped Family is an honor and we warmly thank all the members of Lagoped who support us.
