Faced with the climate emergency and the massive impact of the textile industry, a bill aimed at regulating fast fashion is currently under review . It includes the introduction of a tax on products produced using ultra-fast and ultra-polluting models, as well as better regulation of advertising related to these practices. At Lagoped , we welcome this initiative, because our model did not wait for the law to make a difference.
We don't chase trends. At Lagoped, we make technical, durable, and useful outdoor clothing . Designed for the great outdoors, meticulously crafted, and carefully manufactured.
Nothing is left to chance: recycled materials, European manufacturing, timeless designs. We want each piece to last through the seasons and years, far from disposable, mass-produced models.
A tax on fast fashion doesn't put a burden on good clothes. It simply resets priorities .
Producing ever more, at low cost, on the other side of the world, to encourage constant repurchase? This is neither sustainable nor tenable.
We believe that responsible clothing cannot be produced in a hurry, in opaque conditions, ignoring human and environmental impacts.
At Lagoped, we prefer to design fewer, but better, clothes.
✅ Made in the European Union,
✅ from locally sourced recycled materials and guaranteed PFAS-free,
✅ with a demanding design and robust finishes,
✅ and a transparent eco-score on each product.
We don't create collections that require updating. We develop useful, durable, and repairable clothing—designed to last and serve you for a long time.
We've chosen a different model from fast fashion. Slower. More grounded. Fairer. A model that respects those who make it, those who wear it, and, above all, the natural environments in which we live.
For more sustainable fashion? Let's start by buying less, but better.
For safer fashion? Let's trust local supply chains, small-scale workshops, and field-tested products.
For more responsible fashion? Let's choose transparency, not distant promises.
For a more inclusive fashion? Let's start by respecting workers and the planet.
At Lagoped, we believe that outdoor gear shouldn't follow the codes of fast fashion. It should reflect the seasons, uses, and, above all, values.
