Cut

We recognize the PERNICE pants by:

- Its soft and stretchy material.

- Its light, water-repellent fabric (without fluorinated compounds of course) which dries very quickly

- Its fitted cut (take one size larger than your usual size if you don't like the "slim" look)

- Its high resistance to abrasion

- Its innovative composition, more virtuous than a classic polyamide. Lagoped has designed a recycled polyamide and elastane blend for a pleasant product with controlled impact.

Layer system

Did you know ? The ptarmigan - our totem animal - changes its plumage depending on the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape predators and increases the fluffiness of its feathers to avoid cold spells.

The PERNICE pentalon is inspired by this: its blend of fibers keeps you dry for a long time and ensures the comfort of stretch.

To enjoy your favorite activity whatever the weather, here's the basics: layers.

The first layer, called the internal layer, must be breathable, to guide perspiration towards the outside of the garment.

The intermediate layer is insulating, it helps retain heat.

The outer layer protects against bad weather: waterproof, breathable, windproof. It is to this last category that PERNICE belongs.

By building your outfit based on this system, you gain comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the intermediate layer and then put it back on. In short, multi-layering is the basis.

Manufacture

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since the creation of Lagoped, we have constantly exchanged with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip yourself as well as possible, always with sustainability in mind. This is how our clothes are made:

Here, we favored Econyl, an innovative and responsible material made from nylon waste. The material is recycled from old fishing nets, fabric scraps... The yarn comes from Slovenia, the material is woven and dyed in Spain then the pants are assembled in Hungary. Short circuit, as always!

Circular economy

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped does not compromise on anything.

- Polyamide yarn regenerated in Slovenia. Regenerated nylon is made entirely from nylon waste (including fishing nets, fabric scraps and used carpets).

- Woven and dyed in Spain

- Assembled in Hungary and water-repellent treatment without fluorinated compounds (PFC-free).

Composition

- 180g/m² fabric

- 71% recycled polyamide (r-PA) - yarnmade in Slovenia from polyamide waste (used carpets, fabric scraps, fishing nets, etc.)

- 18% polyamide (PA) -made in Israel

- 11% Elastane (EA)- made in South Korea and Japan

- Fabric made and dyed in Spain

Care

To respect the environment and make your pants last, wash them in the machine on a short cycle and not too hot (30°C is enough), with a natural detergent. Dry it in the fresh air rather than in the washing machine.

Little info: the use you make of your clothes and mainly washing represent 14% of the environmental impact of your clothes. Think about it!
