We recognize the HARFANG tights by:

Did you know ? The ptarmigan - our totem animal - changes its plumage depending on the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape predators and increases the fluffiness of its feathers to avoid cold snaps.

The HARFANG tights are inspired by this: they play the role of an intermediate layer, one that insulates you from the cold and regulates heat.

To enjoy your favorite activity whatever the weather, here's the basics: layers.

The first layer, called the internal layer, must be breathable, to guide perspiration towards the outside of the garment.

The intermediate layer is insulating, it helps retain heat.

The outer layer protects against bad weather: waterproof, breathable, windproof.

The Harfang tights can be used as a 2nd layer under waterproof pants for skiing or as a 3rd layer when you practice a sustained activity such as running, cross-country skiing, or "pipette tights" skiing.

By building your outfit based on this system, you gain comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the intermediate layer and then put it back on. In short, multi-layering is the basis.

Fabrication

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since the creation of Lagoped, we have constantly exchanged with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip yourself as well as possible, always with sustainability in mind. This is how our clothes are made:

Here, we favored Econyl, an innovative and responsible material made from nylon waste. The material is recycled from old fishing nets, fabric scraps... The yarn comes from Slovenia, the material is knitted and dyed in Italy then the tights are assembled in Portugal. Short circuit, as always!

Économie circulaire

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped does not compromise on anything.

- Polyamide yarn regenerated in Slovenia. Regenerated nylon is made entirely from nylon waste (including fishing nets, fabric scraps and used carpets). As for elastane, it is not yet recycled. But we are working with our suppliers to develop our tights in the future.

- Knitting and dyeing in Italy.

- Assembly in Portugal.

Composition

- 220g/m² fabric

- 84% recycled polyamide (r-PA) made in Slovenia from polyamide waste (used carpets, fabric scraps, fishing nets, etc.)

- 16% Elastane (EA) - yarn made in Northern Ireland

- 225g/m² yoke of the same origin, 78% recycled polyamide and 22% elastane

- Fabrics made in Italy

Entretien

To take care of your HARFANG tights, machine wash them at 30°C with regular detergent (not too much, and if it is eco-friendly, even better!).

You don't need fabric softener or anything (bleach).

Then, gently spin and rinse normally, then dry in the fresh air.
