You will discover the legendary friendliness of the Dent Parrachée refuge, hosted by Franck and Anne, while enjoying the best spring snow. The common thread? Your autonomy and your safety. Under the expert eye of Julien, co-founder of Lagoped and high mountain guide, and Vivien, guide and emergency doctor, you will alternate between wild slopes and practical workshops: risk management in skiing and first aid sheets in isolated environments. An authentic sharing moment to become an active participant in your future adventures.

THE SETTING OF THE ADVENTURE
THE DENT PARRACHÉE REFUGE
A true balcony over Maurienne, this refuge carefully renovated by its carpenter-warden is a haven of wood and warmth. Perched at 2511 m altitude, it overlooks the Plan d'Amont and Plan d'Aval lakes. Franck and Anne, the wardens, provide an extraordinary welcome tinged with humor and local stories. It is the ideal base camp to ski the surrounding faces before gathering around a generous table.
THE VANOISE NATIONAL PARK
The first national park created in France, the Vanoise is a biodiversity sanctuary nestled between Maurienne and Tarentaise. Between peaks over 3000 m and majestic glaciers, you will explore a protected area where the ibex is king. It is a unique geological and climatic crossroads that offers, in spring, generous sunshine and exceptional skiing conditions.
THE SKI ADVENTURE AT DENT PARRACHÉE OVER THE DAYS

DAY 1 - SATURDAY, APRIL 11, 2026
Meals included: lunch, dinner
Accommodation: Dent Parrachée Refuge (dormitory)
Meal not included: breakfast
Morning: Meeting at 8:30 AM at the base of the Grand Jeu chairlift in Aussois. Meet guides Julien & Vivien.
Use of ski lifts (hiker pass included in the price), and ascent to the refuge.
Depending on the group's level and weather: first outing to a nearby summit (e.g., Col de Labby) to validate technical level.
Afternoon: workshop - introduction to safety and first aid.
DAY 2 - SUNDAY, APRIL 12, 2026
Meal included: breakfast, lunch
Meal not included: dinner
Morning: Early departure to enjoy the "carpet" (spring snow). Goal towards Col de la Masse or according to the guides' inspiration. Practical application of safety techniques in real situations. Personalized technical advice from Julien and Vivien.
Return to the Refuge for lunch and participants' departure after lunch.

JULIEN DÉSÉCURES
High mountain guide since 2000 and co-founder of Lagoped, Julien is a committed terrain expert. Former trainer at ENSA, he has opened legendary routes in the Alps and authored several reference books on the Mont-Blanc massif. His approach? Responsible and technical mountaineering.
VIVIEN BRENCKMANN
The calm strength of the group. Vivien combines the dual expertise of a high mountain guide and an emergency doctor at the Grenoble University Hospital (Mountain Rescue). He regularly provides medical support for remote expeditions and will share with you his essential first aid protocols for high altitude.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Access: Aussois Station. Easy access to the refuge via ski lifts (Grand Jeu and Armoise).
Required level: Regular practice of ski touring. You are comfortable on black runs and all snow conditions (off-piste). Intermediate physical level.
Equipment to bring:
Complete ski touring equipment (skins, crampons).
Mandatory safety pack (AVALANCHE BEACON, shovel, probe).
Helmet, harness, crampons, and ice axe.
Technical clothing adapted to temperature variations (3-layer system).

DENT PARRACHÉE REFUGE
From the refuge, you can embark on: the tour of the Vanoise Glaciers via its green balcony, a glacier crossing, an iconic summit like the Dent Parrachée, a rocky face (the Grand Chatelard)... Or simply an afternoon in the deckchairs! For one night, you will also have the chance to savor the very special atmosphere of living together at altitude in a small space where everyone shares each other's passion. Outside of caretaker hours, the refuge has a room open permanently with 30 places.

The stay will be confirmed from 6 participants, and on the date of March 27, 2026 (date to be confirmed).
Cancellation and postponement conditions: The practice of ski touring and access to the Dent Parrachée refuge are closely linked to snow and weather conditions. If safety conditions are not met (avalanche risk too high, storm, zero visibility) to ensure the smooth running of the program or safe access to the refuge, the guides and the organization reserve the right to cancel or modify the stay.
In this case of force majeure, Lagoped will primarily offer you to postpone your registration to the next season or to a later date. In accordance with regulations, if no alternative solution suits you, the amounts paid will be refunded. However, the organization cannot be held responsible for expenses incurred by the participant to reach the meeting point (transport, prior accommodation, etc.). We strongly advise you to take out personal cancellation insurance.
