The jersey knit stays soft and smooth against your skin, which matters when your backpack rubs against it for hours. Worn next to the skin, it moves with you on the ascent without feeling stiff, and you’ll be happy to wear it again the next day after a night at a mountain hut.

126 grams is the actual weight of the T-shirt on the scale. Over a day of hiking, that means a piece you forget you're wearing and can pack a second one for a two-day trip without thinking twice.

Its lightness comes from choosing a fine knitted jersey that stays soft and flat against the skin rather than forming stiff folds under backpack straps. During exertion, a lightweight fabric also dries faster once the climb is over, so you don't have to keep a cold T-shirt on your shoulders during a summit break. It's a simple choice: less material, but the right material, knitted in France in Moreuil from yarn spun in Spain.

TEEREC SUNSET, the first layer in the Lagoped system

Did you know? The rock ptarmigan, our totem animal, changes its plumage with the seasons: white in winter to blend into the snow, it fluffs up its feathers as soon as the cold sets in. It constantly adjusts its protection, never wearing more than necessary.

TEEREC SUNSET plays exactly this starting role: it's the base layer, the first layer, the one that stays in contact with the skin from the beginning to the end of an outing. Worn on its own in warm weather on an exposed trail, it can then be paired with a second insulating layer, such as a fleece or lightweight down jacket, followed by a third waterproof, windproof layer when the weather turns. Lightweight and compact, it layers comfortably over the shoulders.

Women's Active Fit cut: a close-fitting T-shirt that isn't compressive

TEEREC SUNSET has an Active Fit cut, a women's fit that follows the body's shape without feeling tight or restrictive. It gives your shoulders room to move when you lift your arm to adjust a backpack strap or step over an obstacle, and the jersey springs back into place without pulling at the armholes.

A T-shirt that stays in place under your backpack

This fitted cut prevents fabric from bunching under backpack straps and the hip belt, where chafing can become noticeable after a few hours of walking. It also slips easily under a fleece or jacket without adding bulk around the torso, making it easy to layer when the temperature drops at higher altitudes.
