Paul Romiee 🇫🇷
Adventurer - Line 2
Paul is part of the expedition Line 2, a team of adventure and ski enthusiasts, who are crossing the Pyrenees on ski touring in the winter of 2024/2025. Their common thread is to connect the Mediterranean to the Atlantic using the strength of their legs. They will leave with their skis and their tent with the aim of living a real 2-month adventure according to their values, without going to the other side of the world.
ACTIVITIES
Who is Paul?
Adopted by Annecy, I have practiced all kinds of mountain sports since my childhood: ski touring or cross-country skiing, climbing, mountaineering, trail running, mountain biking until I discovered paragliding which took a large part of my practices during the summer season! Always attracted by the air, I explore the local mountains by air!
I am also a designer and developer of technical textile products for the outdoor industry.
What do the mountains mean to me?
A space of freedom, and my playground and therefore also the responsibility to preserve it as best as possible.
Why the Lagoped Family?
I have always followed the brand closely since I heard about it! Through my professional activity, I realize all the more the challenge that Lagoped takes on! The values of the brand are really in line with mine, and the project of the crossing of the Pyrenees was really the opportunity to collaborate on a project in agreement on the whole Line ;)
My projects ?
The main one and the one coming very soon, “Line 2 - Crossing the Pyrenees on skis”
This is a project with Lucas and Luc that has been in the pipeline for a long time! This winter, we will try to cross the Pyrenees from the Sea to the Ocean, on ski touring. An ambitious and damn interesting journey from every point of view, to seek adventure close to home! The expedition can be followed here:https://www.instagram.com/expe_la_ligne/and in festivals with the film that will be released next!
The following projects, certainly, other adventures of the kind, perhaps with a paraglider or a sailboat? Everything in its time, first heading for the Pyrenees ;)
