Goodbye Héliski
A new law of February 22, 2022 reinforces the desire to limit noise in the mountains and motorized travel. There has been a shift in recent years regarding heliskiing, which has come to the French mountains from drop-offs in border countries which still authorize it despite increasingly structured protests.
We understand the joy of being propelled to high altitude without effort, but above all it must be compared with the disturbance generated by the incessant noise of the engines rotating every 15 minutes. For the wildlife in the first place and also the other practitioners who climb by their own means. Thanks to the action of Mountain Wilderness France and the FFCAM, the mountain is becoming a little more of a place of tranquility for everyone. Let's take advantage of it!
