Clothes that last

We make clothing that lasts, because durability is essential for impact reduction. In practice, we develop this sustainability at all levels from design to distribution to repair.

When designing our collections, we work on models whose spectrum of use is as wide as possible: for eco-responsibility in use and not just in manufacturing. For example, the EVE jacket can be suitable for use all year round, mainly for winter activities, skiing, ice climbing and ski touring. The TETRAS jacket is also suitable for year-round use, mainly for summer activities, hiking and trekking. In both cases, we translate the dominant into the color code used and the accessorizations (pockets, ventilation, weight). A less intensive amateur will not need to use two jackets (while a professional will) and will be able to use their model all year round.

It is in the same spirit that we designed the Kiiruna backpack. It can be used in winter for ski touring and ski mountaineering (ski holder / ice ax holder) as well as in summer for climbing or day hiking (removable lower ski holder). We have worked on a refined design and a modular volume so that it can be equally useful in the valley and in the city. A bag used only in the mountains would have a greater impact. It is entirely made in the EU and its very strong canvas comes from the recycling of fishing nets, old carpets and production scraps.

We work with pros to ensure that the garment provides the functions expected of primary practice in intensive conditions. And our community provides constant feedback to improve them.

For our technical clothing, we use dyes that are specially resistant to UV radiation. In practice, you have no discoloration on areas exposed to the sun and no traces of backpack straps. The color lasts and the garment stays looking “new” for longer.

Our collections do not change every year and this allows us to renew them through our distribution network and avoids selling off the “old” collection to make room for the new one. Not changing each season also makes it possible to limit material waste by using manufacturing residues (“left-overs” in textile jargon), and to consolidate dyes to reduce the number of operations and consumption of dyes. 'water. And we pool the fabrics on different garments, for example the fabric of the TETRAS jackets for the inserts of the RYPA fleeces.

We guarantee our technical clothing for 5 years and we offer a repair service with a workshop based in Haute Savoie. He can change a zip and repair a hole or tear on our membrane items, in the original color of the fabric. You can easily register your purchase on the ZenOwn ® app using the barcode on your label. The application can be downloaded to your mobile and makes it easier to contact our teams in the event of a repair need.

YOU USE YOUR CLOTHES FOR A LONG TIME, AND ALL YEAR ROUND, IN THE MOUNTAIN AND IN THE VALLEY, AT THE SEA IN THE CITY AND IN THE FOREST.
