Coupe

The TEEREC LOKAAL T-shirt is recognizable by:
- Its total comfort and its classic cut.
- Its embroidery signed Lagoped: can you guess which mountain it is?
- Its innovative composition, more virtuous than a classic cotton - even organic. Lagoped has imagined a mixture of recycled cotton and recycled polyester for a pleasant product with a controlled impact.

Layer system

Did you know? The ptarmigan - our totem animal - changes its plumage according to the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape predators and increases the puffiness of its feathers to avoid cold snaps. The TEEREC LOKAAL t-shirt is inspired by this: its blend of fibers keeps you dry for longer than pure cotton. To enjoy your favorite activity whatever the weather, here are the basics: layers.
The first layer, called internal, must be breathable, to guide perspiration towards the outside of the garment. It is to this last category that TEEREC LOKAAL belongs.
The middle layer is insulating, it helps keep the heat in.
The outer layer protects against bad weather: waterproof, breathable, windproof.
By building your outfit around this system, you gain comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the mid-layer and then put it back on when you stop. In short, multi-layering is the basis

Manufacturing

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since the creation of Lagoped, we have been in constant dialogue with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip you as best as possible, always with sustainability in mind. Here is how our clothing is made: The Fil is made in Spain from recycled cotton and recycled polyester. The jersey and ribbed edges are knitted in France (Picardy) before final assembly in France, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

Circular economy

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped does not compromise on anything. Here, the thread of the t-shirt is more virtuous than a conventional or organic cotton. Recycled cotton does not involve fertilizers, water consumption, agricultural work and less carbon consumption. The soils
are either at rest or reserved for food agriculture. It's better that way, right? Concretely, 1 kg of recycled cotton can be used to make 6 t-shirts that will avoid:
- cultivation of 10m² of arable land,
- the use of 15,000 litres of water (i.e. four months of daily 5-minute showers)
- the emission of 23kg of greenhouse gas emissions (approximately 200 km with a small petrol car)

(source: AITEX, Universitat de Valencia and UNESCO)

Composition

- Jersey 155g/m²
- Yarn made in Spain from recycled cotton (r-COT) and recycled polyester (r-PET) (pre and post consumer).
- No dyeing and sorting of fibers by color.

Maintenance

To respect the environment and make your t-shirt last, wash it in the machine on a short cycle and not too hot (30° or 40°C is enough), with a natural detergent. Dry it in the fresh air rather than in the washing machine.
