imagined a recycled polyamide and elastane blend for a product that is pleasant to
the impact controlled.

Layer system

Did you know ? The ptarmigan - our totem animal - changes its plumage depending on the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape predators and increases the fluffiness of its feathers to avoid cold spells.


The TANKTREK tank top is inspired by this: its blend of fibers keeps you dry for a long time and ensures the comfort of stretch.


To enjoy your favorite activity whatever the weather, here's the basics: layers.


* The first layer, called internal, must be breathable, to guide perspiration to the outside of the garment. It is to this last category that TANKTREK belongs.


* The intermediate layer is insulating, it helps retain heat.


* The outer layer protects against bad weather: waterproof, breathable, windproof.


By building your outfit based on this system, you gain comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the intermediate layer and then put it back on. In short, multi-layering is the basis.

Manufacture

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since the creation of Lagoped, we have constantly exchanged with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip yourself as well as possible, always with sustainability in mind. This is how our clothes are made:


Here, we favored Econyl as the main material, an innovative and responsible material made from nylon waste. The material is recycled from old fishing nets, fabric scraps... The yarn comes from Slovenia, the material is knitted and dyed in Italy.

For even more breathability, we chose a mesh structure, made with Italian recycled polyester yarn (from recycled plastic bottles), then the knitting is carried out in France.

Finally, the mesh is printed in Lithuania, before being assembled into TANKTREK in the same factory.

Circular economy

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped does not compromise on anything.

- Polyamide yarn regenerated in Slovenia. Regenerated nylon is made entirely from nylon waste (including fishing nets, fabric scraps and used carpets).

- Polyester threads come from plastic bottles.

- As for elastane, it is not yet recycled. But we are working with our suppliers to develop our tank top in the future.


- Knitting and dyeing in Italy for Polyamide, while Polyester is knitted in France.



- Printing and assembly in Lithanie.

Composition

* Main fabric 145g/m²


- 90% recycled polyamide (r-PA) made in Slovenia from polyamide waste (used carpets, fabric scraps, fishing nets, etc.)


- 10% Elastane (EA) - yarn made in Northern Ireland


* 110g/m² yoke:


- 91% recycled Polyester (r-PET) from plastic bottles (Italy)


- 9% Elastane (EA) - made in South Korea and Japan


- Fabrics made in Italy and France

Care

To take care of your TANKTREK tank top, machine wash it at 30°C with regular detergent (not too much, and if it is eco-friendly, even better!).

You don't need fabric softener or anything (bleach).

Then, gently spin and rinse normally, then dry in the fresh air.

La coupe est vraiment top. La veste descend assez bas pour une bonne protection.
La capuche est vraiment grande du coup on peut la mettre sur le casque si la météo n’est vraiment pas bonne. La grande poche sur le devant est très pratique pour ranger du matos au sec comme les gants, le masque …
Et en plus le look est absolument très réussi.
