We recognize the HEYDO down jacket by:

- its lightness and its cut without a hood (a version with it also exists). It stores easily in its compression bag.

- its perfect complement to the EVE jacket: it is an ideal intermediate layer.

- its recycled fabric and wadding material, woven and dyed in Isère, assembled in Europe, in accordance with our values ​​and yours... And obviously without fluorinated compounds (PFC).

Layer system

Did you know ? The ptarmigan - our totem animal - changes its plumage depending on the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape predators and increases the fluffiness of its feathers to avoid cold snaps.

The HEYDO down jacket is inspired by this: it plays the role of an intermediate layer, the one that insulates you from the cold and regulates heat.

To enjoy your favorite activity whatever the weather, here's the basics: layers.

The first layer, called the internal layer, must be breathable, to guide perspiration towards the outside of the garment.

The intermediate layer is insulating, it helps retain heat. It is to this second category that HEYDO belongs.

The outer layer protects against bad weather: waterproof, breathable, windproof.

By building your outfit based on this system, you gain comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the intermediate layer and then put it back on. In short, multi-layering is the basis.

Manufacture

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since the creation of Lagoped, we have constantly exchanged with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip yourself as well as possible, always with sustainability in mind. This is how our clothes are made:

The yarn is Italian (from recycled plastic bottles), the weaving and dyeing are done in France (Isère). Little manufacturing secret, the fabric has received a mechanical anti-down treatment (no CHEMICAL treatment). This is what prevents the small threads of the wadding from piercing the fabric.

The wadding which retains body heat is made in Italy from recycled plastic bottles. No feathers at Lagoped!

The three layers are combined in Austria, before being assembled in Poland. Which makes it an entirely European product - a small feat for such a technical garment.

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped does not compromise on anything.

Care

To take care of your HEYDO down jacket, wash it in the machine, with the zips closed at 30°C with regular detergent (not too much, and if it is eco-friendly, even better!).

You don't need fabric softener or anything (bleach).

Then, gently wringing and rinsing thoroughly is enough, before drying in the fresh air.

Use specific PFC-free sprays to reactivate water repellency. The down jacket is water-repellent but it is not waterproof and will not keep you dry for long in the event of rain. For waterproofing there is of course the EVE jacket.

"L’alternative premium et authentique à Patagonia (devenu trop marketing) : Lagoped, L'excellence.

Le manteau est à la fois léger et incroyablement chaud, tout en étant imperméable et enveloppant. La coupe, inspirée des parkas, offre une chaleur optimale sans la lourdeur habituelle.
Grâce à des matériaux techniques et innovants, la veste donne une sensation d’aération qui la rend polyvalente : elle est parfaite pour l’hiver, mais peut tout à fait s’utiliser en mi-saison.
En résumé, Lagoped est une alternative européenne à Patagonia, mais avec une authenticité qui évite l’effet "trop marketing". Du choix des matériaux à la fabrication : 100 % made in Europe.
