January 25, 2025: Book Signing with Ismaël Khelifa

The host of Échappées Belles will be present on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the pop-up store  Lagoped  x  AU VIEUX CAMPEUR , to sign his first novel: Ce que la vie a de plus beau. 

Ismaël Khelifa  is a director, journalist, naturalist guide, and lecturer, specializing in polar regions. He has co-hosted Échappées belles on France 5 since 2019. With his first novel, he tells the touching story of the meeting between a father, a photographer, and his son, in the northwest of Iceland.

The career of Romain Solers, 35, a photographer, is on the rise. His photos, taken immersed in the heart of the wild nature, among the women and men who live there, travel the world and even the Cannes Festival pays tribute to him. But his life turns upside down when he receives an unexpected visit from Nathan, the son he neither recognized nor even met.

Disoriented, Romain doesn’t know how to act towards this teenager whom life seems not to have spared. Against all odds, he decides to take him along on an expedition for his next report.
