Layer system

The headband is not part of the layering system, but since a lot of heat is lost through the head, it is essential to cover it.

Always bring a beanie or headband, even in summer, for bivouacs or slightly cool evenings.

The RUPRICAPRA provides just the right amount of warmth and ventilates well during exertion in cold weather. Very lightweight, you quickly forget you're wearing it.

Manufacture

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since Lagoped was founded, we have been in constant conversation with professionals and enthusiasts to improve every piece. To equip you as well as possible, always keeping durability in mind. Here’s how our clothing is made:

The microfleece is very lightweight for even greater breathability. It is made with Italian recycled polyester yarn (from recycled plastic bottles), then knitted and dyed in Spain. Cutting and assembly are carried out in Portugal. A short supply chain, as always!

Circular economy

To protect the environment and your health, Lagoped compromises on nothing.

- Polyester yarns are made from recycled plastic bottles in Italy.

- As for elastane, it comes from South Korea and is not yet recycled. But we are working on this with our suppliers to further reduce our impact in the future.

- Knitting and dyeing in Spain.

- Embroidery and assembly in Portugal.

Composition

* 240g/m² fleece:

- 92% Recycled polyester (r-PET) - yarn made in Italy from plastic bottles

- 8% Elastane (EA) - made in South Korea

- Fleece manufactured and dyed in Spain

Care

To take care of your RUPRICAPRA Headband, hand-wash it with soap after every active outing and machine-wash it at 30°C every 10 outings with regular detergent (not too much, and eco-friendly is even better!).

You don't need fabric softener or anything else (no bleach).

Then use a gentle spin cycle and a normal rinse, followed by air-drying.
