The HEYDOMA sleeveless down jacket is inspired by this: it acts as a mid-layer, the one that insulates you from the cold and regulates heat.

To enjoy your favorite activity regardless of the weather, here’s the basics: layering.

- The first layer, called the base layer, must be breathable to wick sweat away from the body.

- The mid-layer is insulating, it helps retain heat. HEYDOMA belongs to this second category.

- The outer layer protects against the elements: waterproof, breathable, windproof. By building your outfit based on this system, you gain comfort and versatility.

During activity, you can remove the mid-layer and put it back on when resting.
In short, layering is fundamental.

Manufacture

We often say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since the creation of Lagoped, we have been constantly exchanging with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip you in the best way, always keeping durability in mind. Here is how our clothes are made:

The yarn is made in Slovenia from polyamide waste such as carpets, rugs, and fishing nets. The weaving and dyeing are done in France (Isère). A little manufacturing secret: the fabric has received a mechanical anti-pilling treatment (no CHEMICAL treatment). This prevents the small fibers of the wadding from piercing the fabric.

The wadding that retains body heat is made in Slovakia from recycled plastic bottles. No feathers at Lagoped!

The down jacket is assembled in Poland. This makes it a fully European product – a small feat for such a technical garment.

Circular economy

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped compromises on nothing.

- The polyamide threads are regenerated in Slovenia. The regenerated nylon is made entirely from nylon waste (including fishing nets, fabric scraps, and used carpets).

- Weaving, dyeing, and mechanical anti-pilling treatment are carried out in France.

- The polyester fibers come from plastic bottles collected in Europe and processed in the United Kingdom.

- The wadding is made in Slovakia.

Composition

Outer and inner fabric 55g/m²:

- 100% regenerated polyamide (r-PA)

Padding wadding 200g/m²:

- 100% recycled polyester (r-PET)

Care

To take care of your HEYDOMA down jacket, wash it in the machine with the zippers closed at 30°C using regular detergent (not too much, and if it's eco-friendly, even better!). You don't need fabric softener or anything else (like bleach). Then, a gentle spin and a thorough rinse are enough before air drying.

Use a specific PFC-free spray to reactivate the water repellency. The down jacket is water-repellent but not waterproof and won't keep you dry for long in the rain. For waterproofing, of course, we have our technical jackets.
