SNEJNI2 is one of them: a proper chunky knit sweater made with 70% recycled wool that keeps you warm, whether you're walking through town or settling down at an outdoor café in the late afternoon.

Jacquard knit designed to retain warmth

The jacquard pattern is more than just decoration: it's created by the knitting itself, with a dense knit that traps air and reduces heat loss. Weighing 400 g, SNEJNI2 embraces its role as a warm layer, one you can wear on its own in dry weather or under a jacket when the wind picks up.

Subtle details, made to last

The embroidered logo on the sleeve gives the piece a signature touch without cluttering it. Recycled wool provides a soft feel and naturally helps regulate moisture, while the polyamide blend strengthens the knit in areas that experience the most friction, especially the shoulders and elbows.

The yarn for the SNEJNI2 is spun in the Tarn from recycled wool. The spinner uses a process that preserves the length of the fibers during shredding, resulting in a yarn closer to virgin yarn than conventional recycled wool, and therefore a sweater that lasts. The blend consists of 70% recycled wool, 25% recycled polyamide, which strengthens the yarn, and 5% other fibers. Since the fibers are mechanically sorted by color before spinning, the two-tone jacquard is achieved without any dyeing. The sweater is knitted and assembled in Italy, and weighs 390 g in size M. It can be worn as a mid-layer under a jacket in winter, or on its own by the fire after a day outdoors.

Stretch knit and sleeve embroidery: everyday comfort

A warm sweater can quickly become restrictive if it limits your shoulders. SNEJNI2 makes use of the knit’s stretch: the fabric stretches and then returns to its shape, giving you the freedom to walk briskly, climb stairs, or put on a backpack without the sweater riding up your back.

The embroidered logo on the sleeve follows the same understated approach: stitched directly into the knit with Madeira Burmilana thread, it withstands washing and the friction of a backpack strap, unlike a printed design that peels over time. No added patch, no extra bulk: nothing to get in the way under a jacket.

SNEJNI2, the second warm layer in the Lagoped system

Did you know? The ptarmigan, our totem animal, changes its plumage with the seasons: white in winter to blend into the snow, it fluffs up its feathers to trap air and protect itself from the cold. It constantly adjusts its insulation, never wearing more than it needs.

SNEJNI2 plays exactly this role: that of the mid layer, the second layer, which retains the heat produced by the body. It is worn over a technical base layer close to the body, and can itself be tucked under a waterproof, windproof outer layer when the weather turns bad. In dry weather, while exploring the city, it is often all you need.

SNEJNI2 has a straight fit, neither slim nor loose, in a men's style that falls naturally over the shoulders and hips. The thick knit holds its shape throughout the day and doesn't sag at the lower back when sitting for long periods.

A knit that moves with you

The knit has natural stretch: raise your arms or sling a bag over one shoulder, and the sweater falls back into place. It's the kind of comfort you notice most when it's missing.

Wear it on its own or under a jacket

With a T-shirt or lightweight shirt underneath, it works on its own in dry weather. The knit is compact enough to fit under a windbreaker or rain jacket without feeling restrictive at the armholes.
