Layer system

Did you know? The ptarmigan - our totem animal - changes its plumage according to the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape predators and increases the fluffiness of its feathers to avoid colds. The PRUNELLA tank top is inspired by this: its fiber blend keeps you drier for longer than pure cotton. To enjoy your favorite activity whatever the weather, here are the basics: layers. The first layer, called the inner layer, must be breathable, to guide perspiration to the outside of the garment. It is to this last category that the PRUNELLA tank top belongs. The middle layer is insulating, it helps retain heat. The outer layer protects from the elements: waterproof, breathable, windproof. By building your outfit according to this system, you gain in comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the middle layer and then put it back on when you stop. In short, multi-layering is the basis.

Manufacture

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since Lagoped's creation, we've been working tirelessly with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip you as best as possible, always with sustainability in mind. Here's how our clothing is made:
The yarn is made in Spain from recycled cotton and recycled polyester.
The jersey and ribbed edges are knitted in France (Picardy) before final assembly in Portugal.

Circular economy

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped doesn't compromise on anything. Here, the yarn of the tank top is more virtuous than conventional or organic cotton. Recycled cotton involves no fertilizers, no water consumption, no agricultural work and less carbon consumption. The soils are either at rest or reserved for food agriculture. It's better that way, right? Concretely, 1 kg of recycled cotton makes it possible to manufacture 6 t-shirts which will avoid: - the cultivation of 10m² of arable land, - the use of 15,000 liters of water (or four months of daily 5-minute showers) - the emission of 23kg of greenhouse gas emissions (around 200 km with a small gasoline car) (source: AITEX, Universitat de Valencia and UNESCO)

Composition

- Jersey 155g/m²
- Yarn made in Spain from recycled cotton (45% r-COT) and recycled polyester (55% r-PET) (pre and post consumer).
- No dyeing and sorting of fibers by color.

Care

To respect the environment and make your tank top last, wash it in the machine on a short cycle and not too hot (30° or 40°C is enough), with a natural detergent. Dry it in the fresh air rather than in the washing machine.

Veste idéale pour une pratique du Telemark, du ski ou du snowboard freeride.
La coupe est vraiment top. La veste descend assez bas pour une bonne protection.
La capuche est vraiment grande du coup on peut la mettre sur le casque si la météo n’est vraiment pas bonne. La grande poche sur le devant est très pratique pour ranger du matos au sec comme les gants, le masque …
Et en plus le look est absolument très réussi.
