155 g/m² jersey that lasts all day

The 155 g/m² polycotton knit combines 55% recycled polyester and 45% recycled cotton. Cotton provides the soft feel and absorbency you expect from a T-shirt worn next to the skin, while recycled polyester dries faster and helps prevent creases after a night in a travel bag. At 152 g on the scale, you can pack it without giving a second thought to how much space it takes up.

Water-based print and a ribbed collar

The designs are created using water-based print, and the crew neck is finished with a ribbed band knitted from the same material, which retains its shape wash after wash.

A 155 g/m² jersey made from recycled fibers, without a dye bath

A T-shirt is judged first by how its fabric feels. Here, the jersey weighs 155 g/m²: dense enough not to be see-through and to hold its shape wash after wash, yet light enough to stay breathable as the day warms up. It’s knitted from a yarn blending recycled cotton and polyester, made from 97% recycled materials overall, spun in Spain and then knitted in France. An important point about the color: the fibers are sorted by shade before spinning, so the fabric never goes through a dye bath. Less water and energy are used, and the color comes from the fibers themselves rather than from a colored surface.

152 g on the scale: the T-shirt you pack for a trip without a second thought

When packing for a three-day trip, every item is a trade-off. DOVE150 TOOLS weighs 152 g, barely more than a pair of hiking socks, and rolls up into a tiny bundle at the bottom of a backpack. That’s one reason it works just as well for urban exploration as it does for travel: you can slip in two when you were hesitating over whether to bring even one. The fabric blend helps too: recycled polyester dries faster than pure cotton after a sink wash and comes out of the bag without the deep creases of a 100% cotton knit. The water-based water-print designs stay supple on the fabric and don’t crack when folded.

Recycled cotton provides softness, while recycled polyester speeds up drying. On top, add a second insulating layer, fleece or a lightweight puffer jacket, then a third waterproof and windproof layer if the weather calls for it. For sustained exertion in the mountains, a technical base layer made of wool or pure synthetic fabric is preferable.
