You can judge an everyday T-shirt after six months, once it has been through twenty washes and a week in a travel bag. That’s exactly what DOVE is made for, cut from a dense 220 g/m2 jersey knit that holds its shape instead of stretching out at the collar and shoulders.

A knit that stands up to repeated washing

The blend of cotton and recycled polyester creates a substantial knit that feels pleasant to the touch and hangs straight without creasing across the back after a day of sitting or a long train ride. The crew neck is constructed to stay neat over time, an area where lightweight T-shirts are often the first to give out.

A simple garment, almost logo-free

The embroidered logo on the chest is discreet: DOVE is designed as a neutral piece that can be worn on its own in summer, under a shirt, or beneath a fleece when the temperature drops. With 98% recycled materials and made in Portugal, it’s a basic with a known provenance.

220 g/m² jersey knit: the weight that makes a T-shirt last

A classic everyday T-shirt weighs around 140 to 160 g/m². DOVE weighs 220 g/m², and you can feel the difference as soon as you pick it up: the knit is heavier and more opaque, and it doesn't bunch up around the stomach or elbows. In practical terms, this is the kind of fabric that can handle a bag worn all day around town, a night spent rolled up in a travel bag, and then a wash without coming out misshapen. The knit is made from recycled cotton and polyester yarns, for a total of 98% recycled materials. The embroidered logo on the chest, rather than a printed one, follows the same principle: nothing to crack or fade over time with washing.

98% recycled materials: a T-shirt that doesn’t start with virgin resources

Most of a garment’s impact comes from extracting its raw materials. That’s why DOVE is made from 98% recycled materials: 55% recycled polyester and 42% recycled cotton, with the rest helping hold the knit together. Recycled cotton avoids growing a new crop and all the water that goes with it; recycled polyester gives plastic that’s already been produced a second life, and combining the two provides the durability that cotton alone can’t offer in a T-shirt worn so often. The yarn is spun in Spain and knitted in France: the material stays in Europe even before it reaches the workshop.
