There are outings when a full fleece is too much: an easy climb through the forest at five degrees, a walk through town on a winter morning, or a snack break at the top before heading back down. SWYPA is made for just this kind of situation, when you want to keep your torso warm while enjoying complete freedom of movement at the shoulders.

300 g/m² fleece knit with a sheepskin-style finish

The 100% recycled polyester knit, at 300 g/m², has a soft, dense sheepskin-style finish that traps warm air against your core. Sleeveless, it layers over a technical long-sleeved top without adding bulk, and packs flat in a bag when the sun comes out.

Details designed for everyday use

Two zippered hand-warmer pockets to warm your fingers when you stop, a chest pocket for your phone or keys, a stand-up collar with snap closures to protect the back of your neck from the wind, and YKK Vislon zippers with molded teeth that are easy to use even with thin gloves. A subtle heart embroidery completes the piece.

SWYPA’s technical core lies in its fabric weight. At 300 g/m², its recycled polyester fleece falls into the warm fleece category, trapping a layer of air thick enough to keep you warm when standing still, not just when moving. The lambswool finish, achieved by brushing the fabric, raises the surface fibers and increases the volume of air trapped against the torso: it’s this air cushion, not the fabric itself, that makes fleece warm.

Concentrating that warmth on the torso is a deliberate choice. The body prioritizes protecting its vital organs, and warming the torso is often enough to restore comfort to the extremities while letting the arms breathe during exertion. The result: 360 grams on the scales for a piece you can wear for much of the day.

YKK Vislon Zippers and Three Pockets: The Features of a Fleece You Can Wear Every Day

SWYPA’s YKK Vislon zippers have molded teeth that are wider and stiffer than those of a coil zipper. In practical terms, they’re easier to grip with thin gloves, easier to realign if they snag, and can withstand the repeated opening and closing of a garment you adjust several times per outing.

The storage follows the same practical approach. The two zippered handwarmer pockets are just as useful for warming your fingers during a break as for keeping an item secure on an urban commute. The chest pocket, positioned clear of a backpack’s waist strap, stays accessible without having to take everything off. SWYPA follows exactly the same principle. It serves as a midlayer, the second layer, trapping the heat produced by the body and retaining it. Sleeveless, it’s a deliberately lighter version of this function: it insulates the torso while leaving the arms free, for days when a full fleece would be too much. It’s worn over a technical base layer next to the skin, and slips under a waterproof outer layer as soon as the weather turns.

SWYPA Regular Fit: a unisex fleece that layers without feeling tight

SWYPA has a Regular Fit, a straight cut that's neither fitted nor loose, designed to be worn by both men and women. The roomy armholes leave space for a technical long-sleeve top or a shirt without the fabric pulling at the shoulders, and the torso is loose enough to let you move your arms freely—useful when carrying a backpack or leaning on trekking poles.

The stand-up collar fastens with snaps and can be left open when the temperature rises. As a layer, SWYPA fits easily under a waterproof jacket: the sleeveless design prevents bulk around the forearms, where layers usually pile up.
