GHEADBAND: the recycled wool headband that protects your ears without overheating

Some outings call for more than a beanie: a sunny climb on a ski tour, an approach to a climbing route, or a windy outing by the sea in cold weather. That’s exactly what the GHEADBAND is for. Weighing just 50 grams, it covers your forehead and ears while letting your head breathe.

A single-ply knit in recycled wool

The headband is knitted in a single-ply blend of 70% recycled wool and 25% recycled polyamide, for a total of 71% recycled materials. Wool provides warmth and retains its qualities even when damp, polyamide adds durability, and the knit is elastic enough to fit your head without squeezing.

Fleece lining against the skin

Recycled polyester fleece lines the headband where it touches your forehead and ears, the areas most exposed to the cold. The embroidered logo is the only visible detail, with no bulky seams to get in the way under a hood or helmet.

PERFORMANCES

Yarn made from 70% recycled wool and 25% recycled polyamide, spun in the Tarn region.

A recycled wool headband, spun in the Tarn

The GHEADBAND covers the forehead and ears, which is enough in most cases: these are the areas that feel the cold first, and a headband lets your scalp breathe, whereas a beanie makes you sweat on the uphill. It is knitted from a single strand of recycled wool, spun in the Tarn using a process that preserves the fiber length and produces a strong yarn. The blend contains 70% recycled wool, 25% polyamide, and 5% other fibers, sorted by color before spinning, which avoids dyeing. Inside, a lining of recycled polyester fleece softens contact with the forehead and adds a little warmth without bulk. The headband is knitted in Italy and weighs 50 g.

50 grams and stretchy knit: the accessory you forget in your pocket

The GHEADBAND weighs 50 grams. That’s light enough to keep at the bottom of a jacket pocket or in a bag’s waist-belt pocket, ready for the day the wind picks up on the mountain pass. No bulk, no need to choose what to pack.

A knit that holds its shape

The 25% recycled polyamide combined with wool gives the knit its stretch and ability to return to shape after being stretched, rolled into a ball, or squashed at the bottom of a bag. The embroidered logo is flat and sewn into the fabric, so it adds no bulk and won’t peel like a printed design can after repeated washes.

Fit & support

An elastic headband that stays in place under a helmet or hood

The GHEADBAND is unisex and can be worn over tied-back hair or directly on the forehead. The single-ply knit stretches widthwise to fit over the head, then returns to its shape, allowing it to stay in place during a ski descent or a climbing pitch without needing to pull it back up every ten minutes. It covers the forehead and ears without squeezing the temples, which matters when you wear it for several hours.

Compatible with helmets and hoods

Its slim profile and soft fleece lining let it fit under a ski or climbing helmet without creating pressure points, and under a jacket hood without restricting head movement.

SIZE GUIDE

Make your equipment last
