TEEREC MOUNT1: the hiking T-shirt made from undyed recycled fibers

On the trail, a T-shirt is something you forget about when it’s made well and curse when it itches. TEEREC MOUNT1 was designed for the first option: a 155 g/m² jersey made from 55% recycled polyester and 45% recycled cotton, dense enough to last and flexible enough to wear next to your skin all day on the trail.

Finishing details designed for next-to-skin comfort

The crew neck is constructed without topstitching, avoiding the extra bulk that rubs under backpack straps. The Lagoped flag is tucked into the side seam, discreetly, with no separate label at the back.

A print that stays soft after washing

The design is made using water-based printing, which penetrates the knit instead of forming a film on the fabric. The result: the graphic doesn’t crack or stiffen the front of the T-shirt, even after many machine washes when you get back from a weekend away.

TEEREC MOUNT1 weighs 126 grams. It’s the kind of weight you don’t feel on your shoulders and soon stop counting when you slip a spare T-shirt into the bottom of your bag for a day trip or an overnight stay at a mountain hut.

This lightness comes from the 155 g/m² jersey, a deliberately balanced fabric weight: enough material for the T-shirt to hold its shape and stay opaque, but light enough to remain breathable on the uphill. The blend of 55% recycled polyester and 45% recycled cotton offers the best of both: polyester for durability and quick drying, cotton for a soft feel next to the skin and none of that plasticky feeling at the end of the day.

Water-based print and no visible stitching at the collar: details that prevent irritation

On a T-shirt worn directly against the skin for eight hours of walking, it’s the construction details that make the difference, not the marketing claims.

The crew neck is finished without visible stitching: no double layer of thread where a backpack strap rubs against the base of your neck. The Lagoped flag is integrated directly into the side seam, so there’s no separate label at the back of your neck to cut off after three outings. As for the design, it’s printed using a water-based process: the ink permeates the fabric instead of coating it, so the front of the T-shirt stays supple and breathable, even where the design is printed.
