Cut

We recognize the EVE jacket by:- Its close-fitting cut, slightly longer at the back so you can bend down without revealing your back (you know, when the icy wind rushes in)

- Its sleeves are deliberately long so that the wrists remain well covered when you raise your arms.

- Its absolute freedom of movement: the cut has been tested and validated in extreme conditions, both in skiing and in itinerant trekking. She brilliantly descended Pic Laila (6096m) in Pakistan and unflinchingly accompanied a winter crossing of New Zealand (2400km on foot in 5 months).

- Its ability to get to the essential, with a refined and sharp style. Its vanishing points (ventilations) are designed not to crush the silhouette.

Layer system

Did you know ? The ptarmigan - our totem animal - changes its plumage depending on the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape predators and increases the fluffiness of its feathers to avoid cold spells. The EVE jacket is inspired by this: it stops rain and wind and retains body heat (more than 30°C on the surface of the skin). In extreme cold, simply add an intermediate layer for greater warmth. You're all set, ready for all your activities. By adjusting the heat supply without ever giving up waterproofing, the EVE jacket can be worn all year round.

To enjoy your favorite activity whatever the weather, here's the basics: layers.

- The first layer, called internal, must be breathable, to guide perspiration towards the outside of the garment.

- The intermediate layer is insulating, it helps retain heat.

- The outer layer protects against bad weather: waterproof, breathable, windproof. It is to this last category that Eve belongs.

By building your outfit based on this system, you gain comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the intermediate layer and then put it back on. In short, multi-layering is the basis.

Manufacture

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since the creation of Lagoped, we have constantly exchanged with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip yourself as well as possible, always with sustainability in mind. This is how our clothes are made:

- Lagoped fabric is made up of 3 different layers that are only a few millimeters thick when assembled.

- The outer thread is Italian (from recycled plastic bottles), the weaving and dyeing are done in Ardèche.

- The membrane is a polyester made in Europe from scraps of recycled membranes (pre-consumer).

- The inner layer is a very very fine Italian knit, made from recycled yarn.

The three layers are combined in Austria, before being assembled in Poland. Which makes it an entirely European product - a small feat for such a technical garment.

Circular economy

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped does not compromise on anything.

- 100% recyclable membrane

- Polyether-ester harmless to health

- PTFE-free

- Bluesign® approval (membrane, laminates, sealing strips)

- Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certification

- Water-repellent treatment without fluorocarbon (Bionic-Finish®Eco) (PFC-free)

- Free from perfluorocarbons

- Fully recyclable laminates

- Fully recyclable top and supports

Composition

- 3-layer fabric 100% recycled Polyester (r-PET)

Care

Machine wash inside out at 30° with zips closed, as infrequently and with as little detergent as possible.

No need for fabric softener: technical fabrics are not a fan.

Better to dry it in the open air on a hanger (or in the dryer for 10-15 minutes max).

For the membrane, especially no ironing!

No dry cleaning either.

Use specific PFC-free sprays to reactivate water repellency.
