Clothes that last

We make clothing that lasts because durability is essential for reducing impact. In practice, we develop this durability at every level, from design to distribution to repair.

When designing our collections, we work on models with the broadest possible range of use: for eco-responsible use, not just manufacturing. For example, the EVE jacket is suitable for year-round use with a focus on winter activities, skiing, ice climbing, and ski touring. The TETRAS jacket is also suitable for year-round use with a focus on summer activities, hiking, and trekking. In both cases, we reflect the focus in the color code used and the accessories (pockets, ventilation, weight). A casual enthusiast won’t need two jackets (whereas a professional might) and can use their model all year long.

In the same spirit, we designed the Kiiruna backpack. It can be used in winter for ski touring and ski mountaineering (ski/pickaxe holder) as well as in summer for climbing or day hiking (removable lower ski holder). We worked on a sleek design and adjustable volume so it can be just as useful in the valley and the city. A backpack used only in the mountains would have a greater impact. It is entirely made in the EU, and its very sturdy fabric comes from recycled fishing nets, old carpets, and production scraps.

We work with professionals to ensure the clothing offers the expected functions for the main activity under intensive conditions. And our community constantly provides feedback to improve them.

For our technical clothing, we use dyes specially resistant to UV radiation. In practice, you won’t see fading on sun-exposed areas or backpack strap marks. The color lasts, and the garment keeps a “like new” appearance longer.

Our collections don’t change every year, which allows us to continue them with our distribution network and avoid discounting the “old” collection to make room for the new one. Not changing every season also helps limit material waste by using leftover production scraps (the “left-overs” in textile jargon) and consolidates dyeing to reduce the number of operations and water consumption. We also share fabrics across different garments, for example, using the TETRAS jacket fabric for the panels of the RYPA fleeces.

We guarantee our technical clothing for 5 years and offer a repair service with a workshop based in Haute Savoie. They can replace a zipper and repair holes or tears on our membrane items, matching the original fabric color. You can easily register your purchase on the ZenOwn® app using the barcode on your label. The app is downloadable on your mobile and facilitates contact with our teams if you need repairs.

YOU USE YOUR CLOTHING FOR A LONG TIME, ALL YEAR ROUND, IN THE MOUNTAINS AND THE VALLEY, AT THE SEA, IN THE CITY, AND IN THE FOREST.
