to understand the topography/weather/snow conditions/skiability/schedule.
During the exit
Management of the ascent (route/schedule/plan B) then of the descent (management of
group/skiability).
post-trip debriefing
A look back at the day and the security management.
In summary
– Take out the rope.
– 1500m of elevation gain over 5 hours of ascent. Steep section requiring the use of rope (couloir or ridge).
– Crampons/ice axe/harness essential
– Maximum 3 people per guide
