October 30 - November 1, 2024: Mountain Image Festival

Lagoped is proud to support the 35th edition of the Mountain Image Festival in Lons. 

Created at the initiative of Pierre Minvielle, renowned speleologist, mountaineer, canyoning pioneer, and writer, the festival organized by the Festival Image Montagne association has become in 30 years a must-attend event for a wide Pyrenean audience.

At each edition, the Mountain Image Festival offers several wonderful days of meetings around film and photography, showcasing the best of current mountain culture.

The thirtieth edition of the festival (2018) was marked by a rejuvenation of the organizing leadership with Peio Gaillard and Cécile Munsch and a move of the base camp from Palais Beaumont to the James Chambaud Space in Lons.
