Layer system

Did you know? The ptarmigan - our totem animal - changes its plumage according to the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape predators and increases the plumage of its feathers to avoid cold snaps.
The SNEJNI2 sweater is inspired by this: it acts as an intermediate layer, the one that insulates you from the cold and regulates heat.
To enjoy your favorite activity whatever the weather, here are the basics: layers.
- The first layer, called internal, must be breathable, to guide perspiration towards the outside of the garment.
- The intermediate layer is insulating, it keeps the heat in. It is to this second category that SNEJNI2 belongs.
- The outer layer protects against bad weather: waterproof, breathable, windproof. By building your outfit according to this system, you gain in comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the intermediate layer and then put it back on when you stop.
In short, multi-layering is the basis.

Manufacture

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since the creation of Lagoped, we have been constantly exchanging with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip you as best as possible, always with sustainability in mind. Here is how this garment is made:
The recycled wool yarn is made in France (Tarn) and the knitting and manufacturing are done in Italy. The wool scraps are sorted by color and avoid dyeing. It's always water saved in addition.

Circular economy

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped does not compromise on anything. The recycled wool yarns that make up the sweater have on average 95% less impact on the environment than virgin wool yarns.
- Spinning is carried out in France from production scraps
- Knitting and finishing in Italy.

Composition

100% recycled yarn:
- 70% wool
- 25% polyamide
- 5% other fibers

Care

To respect the environment and make your sweater last, machine wash it on a wool cycle and cold, with a natural detergent.
Dry it flat and in the open air.
