So, shall we explain the real reason why we don’t do Black Friday?
For the values we stand for, because this day is a commercial frenzy with serious ecological consequences. Tons of products are sold off and shipped, creating a windfall effect and exploiting the feeling of a good deal. But this is not done at a loss: there are even many profits for brands (selling at a loss is prohibited outside of sales periods), notably thanks to manufacturing in Asia. However, the loss is collective and environmental.
We do not participate in Black Friday simply because our manufacturing method does not allow it and because we offer you the fair price all year round.
➡ Our manufacturing costs are based on European standards and not Asian standards: our margins do not allow us to sell at rock-bottom prices without losing money.
➡ Our collections are renewed year after year and do not become obsolete. So we don't need to clear stock.
When you buy a jacket or pants, you decide how your money will be distributed by the company you pay. And how your money will be shared among all those who participated in its production, from the thread to the final delivery. And as long as you haven't paid, there is nothing to distribute.
