Layer system

Did you know? The ptarmigan - our totem animal - changes its plumage according to the seasons. It turns white in winter to escape predators and increases the puffiness of its feathers to avoid cold snaps. The ROKA jersey is inspired by this: its fiber blend keeps you dry for a long time and ensures the comfort of stretch.
To enjoy your favorite activity whatever the weather, here are the basics: layers.
The first layer, called internal, must be breathable, to guide perspiration to the outside of the garment. This is the category to which the ROKA jersey belongs.
The middle layer is insulating, it helps keep the heat in.
The outer layer protects against the elements: waterproof, breathable, windproof. By building your outfit according to this system, you gain in comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the intermediate layer and then put it back on when you stop.
In short, multi-layering is the basis.

Manufacturing

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since the creation of Lagoped, we have been in constant dialogue with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. To equip you as best as possible, always with sustainability in mind. Here, we have favored Econyl, an innovative and responsible material made from nylon waste. The material is recycled from old fishing nets, fabric scraps... The thread comes from Slovenia, the material is woven and dyed in Italy, then the assembly is carried out in Lithuania.

Circular economy

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped does not compromise on anything.
- Regenerated Polyamide yarns in Slovenia. Regenerated nylon is made entirely from nylon waste (including fishing nets, fabric scraps and used carpets).
- The elastane comes from Ireland. It is not yet recycled. But we are working on it with our suppliers to develop our jersey in the future.
- Woven and dyed in Italy.
- Assembled in Lithuania.

Maintenance

To take care of your ROKA swimsuit, machine wash it at 30°C with regular detergent (not too much, and if it's eco-friendly, that's even better!).
You don't need any fabric softener or anything (no bleach). Then a gentle spin and a normal rinse then air dry.
