To enjoy your favorite activity regardless of the weather, here's the basics: layers.
- The first layer, called the inner layer, must be breathable, to guide perspiration to the outside of the garment.
- The intermediate layer is insulating; it helps to retain heat.
- The outer layer protects against the elements: waterproof, breathable, and windproof. PTARMIGAN2 SH belongs to this last category. By building your outfit around this system, you gain comfort and versatility. During exercise, you can remove the mid-layer and then put it back on when you stop. In short, layering is essential.

Manufacture

We often like to say that we make our mountain clothing with you. Since Lagoped's inception, we've been constantly collaborating with professionals and enthusiasts to improve each piece. Our goal is to equip you in the best possible way, always with sustainability in mind. Here, we've chosen Econyl, an innovative and responsible material made from recycled nylon waste. The material is sourced from old fishing nets, fabric scraps, and more. The yarn comes from Slovenia, both materials are woven and dyed in France and Italy, and the garments are then assembled in Lithuania.

Circular economy

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped makes no compromises.
- Regenerated polyamide yarn from Slovenia. Regenerated nylon is made entirely from nylon waste (including fishing nets, fabric scraps and used carpets).
- Woven and dyed in Italy for the main fabric, and in France (Isère) for the secondary fabric
- Assembled in Lithuania and treated with a PFC-free water-repellent finish.

Care

To care for your PTARMIGAN shorts, machine wash them at 30°C with regular detergent (not too much, and eco-friendly is best!). You don't need fabric softener or anything else (bleach). Then, spin gently, rinse normally, and air dry.
