HARFANG LIGHT CAPRI: the lightweight 3/4 tights for hiking and city wear

There are those spring days when you head out for a walk in the late afternoon, when shorts are too short and full-length tights are already too warm. That’s exactly when HARFANG LIGHT CAPRI comes into its own: 140-gram 3/4 tights that stop just below the knee and let your calves breathe.

A two-fabric construction designed for activity

The tights are knitted from a recycled polyamide and elastane fabric weighing 225 g/m², dense enough to stay in place without digging in, and stretchy enough to never restrict your stride on uphill sections. A panel in a second recycled polyamide fabric completes the design, adding ventilation and freedom of movement.

The zippered back pocket holds a key, card, or phone securely without bouncing with every step—a detail that makes all the difference when you’re walking without a bag or carrying just a light backpack. The fabric also wicks away moisture and offers UV protection, useful on trails exposed to full sun.

The HARFANG LIGHT’s two-material construction, in a 3/4 length

The HARFANG LIGHT CAPRI uses the same construction as our HARFANG LIGHT tights, in a 3/4 length that ends below the calf. Its main fabric is a 225 g/m² stretch knit, made from 78% recycled ECONYL polyamide and 22% elastane, knitted and dyed in Italy: dense enough to support the thigh, yet supple enough to move with your stride. A finer knit made from 90% recycled polyamide runs along the sides, wicking away sweat where it builds up. The 3/4 length is the choice when it’s warm enough to leave the lower leg uncovered but you still want support around the thigh, whether running or doing a strength-training session. The tights weigh 140 g in size M and have a zippered back pocket for essentials.

Zipped back pocket and two-fabric construction: two details you notice when you wear them

The zipped back pocket sits at the small of the back, where it won’t interfere with a backpack waist belt or leg movement. It really does stay closed, so you can leave a car key or bank card in it during a two-hour outing without having to think about it.

The leggings also combine two different knits. The main body, made from recycled polyamide and elastane, provides support and durability. The panel, made from a second, even more elastic recycled polyamide knit, is placed where the garment needs flexibility and ventilation. This two-fabric construction makes it possible to maintain a slim fit without compromising freedom of movement.

HARFANG LIGHT CAPRI follows the same principle, serving as the base layer: the first layer, worn next to the skin, whose job is to move moisture outward. In mild weather, it’s all you need on a trail or in town. When the weather turns, wear it under windproof or waterproof pants, which then take over as the outer layer.

Slim fit and capri length: leggings that stay in place from start to finish

HARFANG LIGHT CAPRI is a slim-fitting women’s garment that hugs the leg from hip to ankle, with a three-quarter length that ends below the knee. The elastane fabric stretches in every direction: it moves with your hips and knees as you climb or take a long stride downhill, then springs back into shape without sagging over the course of the day.

Wear it on its own in mild weather, or slip it under hiking pants or shorts when the temperature drops. Weighing just 140 grams and taking up little space, it’s a piece you can keep at the bottom of your pack at all times, whether you’re in the city or on the trail.
