HARFANG LIGHT: the lightweight two-material leggings for hiking and the city

Some summer days, you set out for a walk in the cool morning air, and the temperature climbs by ten degrees before noon. HARFANG LIGHT was designed for outings like these, when you want a garment that stays in place, dries quickly, and fades from your mind after the first few miles.

Two-material construction where your body works hardest

The leggings combine two knits: a main body made from recycled polyamide and elastane, stretchy and breathable, and a panel in a slightly denser knit, positioned to support the leg without compressing it. This combination of materials lets each area work at its own pace rather than making the garment uniform.

Details designed for walking

The zippered back pocket holds a key, a card, or a phone securely while you move—a real comfort when you’re not carrying a bag or walking with a waist belt fastened. UV protection and moisture-wicking round out the design for exposed outings, both at altitude and on open trails. At 150 g, it fits anywhere.

The HARFANG’s two-material construction in a 150 g tight

The HARFANG LIGHT follows the same principle as our winter tight, combining two materials in different areas of the body, but without a brushed inner face. It’s designed for the transitional seasons and activities that generate a lot of heat, from trail running to fast hiking. Its main fabric is a 225 g/m² stretch knit, made of 78% recycled ECONYL polyamide and 22% elastane, knitted and dyed in Italy. The dense fabric supports the legs throughout your outing. On the sides, a lighter knit made of 90% recycled polyamide wicks away sweat where it builds up. The tight weighs 150 g in size M, is assembled in Portugal, and has a rear zip pocket that’s just right for a phone or key.

Zipped back pocket: keep essentials close while on the move

On a summer hike, you often travel light, sometimes without a backpack. The zipped back pocket on HARFANG LIGHT sits at the small of your back, where its contents won't bounce as you walk or get in the way when you sit down for a break. It closes with a zipper, so a car key or transit card stays put even when scrambling over a steep section.

A panel that adds structure without restriction

The panel, knitted from 90% recycled polyamide and 10% elastane, provides slightly firmer support than the body of the tights. It adds structure in high-tension areas, while the rest of the knit retains its full stretch.

Did you know? The ptarmigan, our spirit animal, changes its plumage with the seasons: white in winter to blend into the snow, it fluffs up its feathers when the cold sets in and sheds them as soon as the temperature rises. It constantly adapts, never wearing more than it needs.

HARFANG LIGHT follows the same principle: it's an inner layer, the base layer worn directly against the skin. Its role is to wick moisture away so your skin stays dry during exertion. In summer, it's all you need on a trail or in the city. When the wind picks up or you gain altitude, it works as a base layer under windproof shorts or pants, without adding unnecessary bulk.

HARFANG LIGHT slim fit: tights that follow your legs without squeezing

HARFANG LIGHT is a women's slim-fit pair of tights that hugs the body along the entire length of the leg. The elastane in both fabrics, 22% in the main fabric and 10% in the panel, lets your legs move freely uphill and when striding, without constricting your knees or calves.

Wear on its own or under another layer

Wear them on their own in summer for a hike or a trip into town, or comfortably under shorts or windproof pants when the weather turns cooler, thanks to the fine 225 g/m² knit that adds no bulk. The rear zip pocket stays accessible either way.
