Some days, all you want next to your skin is a garment you barely notice. PRUNELLA does just that: 88 grams on the scale, a 155 g/m² jersey made from recycled polyester and cotton, and shoulders free to climb, paddle, or hike for hours in the sun.

A blended knit designed for sweat

The blend of 55% recycled polyester and 45% recycled cotton does double duty: polyester wicks away moisture on the ascent, while cotton provides the soft feel you appreciate during a break or in the evening at the refuge. A balance that works just as well for climbing as for urban exploring on a scorching day.

Subtle finishes built to last

The crew neck is finished with neck binding to prevent the edge from rolling or stretching out after a few washes. Embroidered logo at the chest, embroidery on the back, and a Lagoped flag tucked into the side seam: embroidery, not a print that peels.

PRUNELLA's cotton doesn't come from a field: it comes from production scraps and used clothes, recovered before they become waste and spun into new yarn, blended with 55% recycled polyester. No new farming, which means no irrigation, pesticides, or fertilizers associated with this material. The fibers are mechanically sorted by color before spinning, which makes dyeing entirely unnecessary. The knit weighs 155 g/m² and is knitted in France, in Picardy, before being assembled in Portugal. At 88 g in size M, this crew-neck tank top is finished with a neckline binding, with no visible topstitching, and features the Lagoped flag in the side seam.

Neckline binding and embroidery: details that last through the seasons

On a tank top, the same areas always give way first: the neckline sags and the branding peels. PRUNELLA addresses both. The crew neck is finished with neckline binding, which structures the edge and keeps it from stretching into waves after a few dozen washes.

As for the branding, everything is embroidered: the logo at the chest, a motif on the back, and the Lagoped flag inserted into the side seam. The embroidery lasts through the seasons without cracking or fading, unlike a printed transfer. It also means you can wear the piece sailing, hiking, or around town without it looking worn out after a single summer.

Did you know? The lagopus, our totem animal, changes its plumage with the seasons: white in winter to blend into the snow, it fluffs up its feathers when the cold sets in and smooths them down as soon as temperatures rise. It constantly adapts, never wearing more than it needs.

PRUNELLA follows the same principle in its most minimal form. It’s a base layer, worn directly against the skin, whose job is to manage sweat before you even start to feel hot. Worn on its own in hot weather, it’s complemented by a second insulating layer, such as a fleece or lightweight puffer, as soon as the wind picks up, then by a waterproof outer layer when the weather turns.

Fit & support

Women's regular fit: a tank top that hangs straight without feeling tight

PRUNELLA has a straight cut, neither tight nor loose. The jersey follows your shape without clinging, and the fabric stays off your stomach and lower back, avoiding a sticky feeling when the temperature rises.

The armholes are open but cover your bra straps, which matters when climbing and constantly raising your arms. The crew neck, finished with a neck binding, stays in place under a harness or backpack straps. Worn on its own in summer, it also slips under a technical shirt or lightweight fleece in mid-season without adding bulk at the shoulders.
