Pilou is one of the young hopefuls of the Lagoped Family. At only 24 years old, he is preparing to become a guide and participated in the writing of a mountain film: La Grave BB.

Who are you ?

Hi, I'm Pierre-Louis, I'm 24 years old, and I do Freeride.

I grew up in La Grave, a legendary Freeride spot known all over the world.
La Grave is not only a ski resort, but a 100% off-piste area which offers plenty of skiing possibilities, whether on steep slopes, ski touring, ski mountaineering or simple Freeride descent.

That's where I fell in love with the mountains and more specifically with skiing.

In the heart of the Ecrins in the Hautes-Alpes, it is the ideal playground for the different sports that I practice (skiing, climbing, ice climbing, mountain biking, etc.).

It is this unique universe that opened the doors to off-piste skiing for me, which I have been practicing since I was very young, thanks in particular to my father, a mountain guide.

On skis since I was 4 years old, I have always wanted to continue learning and
perfect to finally make Freeride my specialty. I was also part of the La Grave sports club until I was 15, where I perfected my skills in slalom.

A few words about your film?

I would like to highlight our group of young Freeride skiers, from La Grave, who take their winter to enjoy skiing and the mountains.

A particular way of life, on the lookout for the best skiing conditions, even if it means putting a dent in our bank accounts.

But we are not inventing anything, we are indeed inspired by the “ski bums” of several years ago who took their winter to ride, putting aside their material comfort!

An intergenerational film therefore, where all the protagonists come together around the same passion: Freeride skiing.

Lagoped Family

Vivre en montagne nous pousse à être au plus proche des éléments, en vivant simplement. Je retrouve cet esprit authentique avec Lagoped, qui as réussi le pari d’être le plus éco responsable possible pour une marque de textile. Des vêtements recyclés, produits pas loin, le tout en proposant une gamme qui me permet d’être au sec été comme hiver!

C’est donc avec fierté que j’ai rejoins la Lagoped Family, et que je partage ma vision de la montagne avec les autres membres! Notamment Paul de Pourtales qui skie aussi à La Grave, et qui doit passer autant de temps en l’air que les skis au sol!
