Perched on the Emparis plateau, facing the legendary glaciers of La Meije, this stage offers a gentle immersion to reinforce the fundamentals of self-supported hiking. Between high-altitude steppes and mirror-like lakes, you'll learn to read a map, anticipate the weather, and manage your effort, all while testing your technical equipment.

Day 0: (1 week prior) Pre-adventure video call, introductions, general presentation, focus on equipment and digital tools
Day 1: Immersion, on-stage preparation and educational workshops
Day 2: Summit or plateau tour, autonomy and safety
Day 3: Refinement, safety and review

main objective

Prepare a simple summer hike including: the route, the terrain and the weather.
Choose the right equipment and optimize the weight management of the bag.
Recognizing environmental issues and adopting good practices for respecting the natural environment.
Identify the risks: safety, communication, procedures to follow in case of emergency.
Managing water, food, effort, pace and logistics over 3 days.
