4 friends, 50 days of total self-sufficiency, the Denali massif as their only horizon.
On Thursday, February 12th, Le Refuge Chamonix opens its doors to a local: Alexandre Marchesseau . High mountain guide and co-author of the book Les Jours Sauvages , Alex will share with us the story of an extraordinary adventure in Alaska.
Far from being about timed performances, this expedition is a quest for the long haul, where friendship is tested by commitment. Between doubts, storms inside the igloo, and moments of grace on the glaciers, come and share with the man who has made the mountains his playground for expression and civic engagement.
On the agenda:
6:00 PM: Welcome and friendly aperitif.
6:15 PM: Account of the expedition illustrated with images by Alex Marchesseau.
7:15 pm: Discussions, Q&A session and book signing.
Free event with registration (limited places).
