TEEREC SUMMIT: the recycled-fiber hiking T-shirt

On the trail, a T-shirt is something you wear from the start of the day to the end: it takes on the climb, backpack straps and the rest at the summit. TEEREC SUMMIT was designed for just that, with 155 g/m² jersey made from 55% recycled polyester and 45% recycled cotton, soft enough to forget you’re wearing it and dense enough to last, outing after outing.

Undyed, color-sorted jersey

The fibers are sorted by color before spinning, eliminating the dyeing process entirely. Less water, fewer chemicals, and a color that won’t run in the wash. The recycled cotton comes from both production offcuts and used clothing.

Finishes designed for comfort under a backpack

The crew neck is finished without topstitching to prevent a seam from rubbing under a backpack strap or hood. The logo is applied using water-print, a flexible printing technique that doesn’t create a rigid patch on the chest, and a Lagoped flag is tucked into the side seam.

That weight comes from the 155 g/m² jersey, with a deliberately moderate fabric weight: enough material to last, but light enough to dry quickly after a sustained climb and not feel heavy on your shoulders. The 55% recycled polyester and 45% recycled cotton blend plays its part here, with polyester adding resilience and shape retention, and cotton providing a soft feel against the skin.

Crew neck with no topstitching and a water print: zero friction points

What wears out a hiking T-shirt is rarely the large areas of fabric; it’s the seams and prints, where a backpack strap rubs for six hours. The TEEREC SUMMIT crew neck is made without topstitching, so there’s no raised seam at the nape, exactly where a hood or strap presses. The logo is water-printed: the ink penetrates the knit instead of forming a raised layer, so the fabric retains its softness and stretch, with no rigid patch to crack after repeated washing. The discreet Lagoped flag, set into the side seam, follows the same principle: no added element to irritate the skin.
