Circular economy

To respect the environment and your health, Lagoped makes no compromises. Here, the yarn used in our t-shirts is more sustainable than conventional or organic cotton. Recycled cotton requires no fertilizers, no water consumption, no agricultural labor, and results in a lower carbon footprint. The land is either left fallow or reserved for food production. Isn't that better?

In practical terms, 1 kg of recycled cotton can be used to make 6 t-shirts, which will prevent:

- the cultivation of 10m² of arable land,

- the use of 15,000 liters of water (equivalent to four months of 5-minute showers daily)

- the emission of 23kg of greenhouse gas emissions (approximately 200 km with a small petrol car)

Composition

- Jersey 220g/m²

- Yarn made in Spain from recycled cotton (r-COT) for 42% and recycled polyester (r-PET) for 55% (pre and post consumer) and other fibers for 3%.

- No dyeing and sorting of fibers by color.

Care

To respect the environment and make your t-shirt last, wash it inside out, in the washing machine on a short cycle and not too hot (30° or 40°C is enough), with a natural detergent.

Dry it in the open air rather than in the washing machine.
